    Hello everybody,

I have been lurking in this forum for a couple of months now. I Like this forum, because the majority of the members have a good knowledge about the sport and really love it as I do too.

Now to the topic, I'm a big mayweather fan. However, I was watching his fight with Mosley and I saw something which I think smells a bit fishy. In this video at 1:59-2:00 you can see that Mosley has Money hurt, against the ropes and he seems to be just padding him :think

Now when you see Mosley on the Margarito fight you can see in this video at 5:08-5:13 how Mosley has Margarito in the same situation as he did with Money and he just goes for the kill with some serious power shots:think

    What do you guys think?

Something was definately up with Mosley on fight night.

My opinion is just that he is too old now and 18 months out of the ring is a long time. Then to prepare for Berto for the fight to be postponed, then back to training camp immediately was just toop muh for Mosleys body at this point in his career. He looked over trained and old against a much fitter opponent

Mosley couldn't get his shiots opff on Mayweather after that shot in round 2 because Mayweather was holding onto Mosley for dear life and that allowed him time to recover

It's a styles clash nothing more, Nothing less.

Vs. Margarito Mosley was in his element.
(Tony decided to bang w/Shane & he paid for it)

Vs. Mayweather, Mosley tried to compete w/ Floyd's best attributes.
(Thus taking away his strengthens & allowing Floyd to be at his best)

    Different circumstances:

Mosley had a Margarito in front of him who had been taking bombs for 9 rounds. When he was finished off at the end there, he was heavily drained and exhausted, with very little left in him. It's much easier to knock a guy out who's in this state.

But against Mayweather, Mosley had him hurt very early on - a point in the fight where Mayweather was still nice and fresh; thus having the strength spoil Mosley's attempts at doing anything more.

But with that said, yes Mosley was awful that night. He did not look like the experienced veteran who once held the P4P number one spot. He was hopeless in nearly every aspect, and in complete fear of the man standing before him. On top of that, he gasses after just 2 rounds :huh

    Shocking

The night before the fight, after the weigh-in. ESPN's Brian Kenney ask Floyd "Floyd, what do see in Mosley that makes you think you can win this fight?'. And what Floyd said made me aware that not only does he watch tape/video but he sees **** no-one else sees. His response was classic: "Mosley is JITTERY. He's just stands there and moves his hands nervously and he gets tired and winded easily". And Brian Kenney was like "WHAT, Mosley gets tired, No way Floyd".

So, Immediately I went to my DVR and Youtube and start watching Mosley vs Oscar (2nd Fight), David Estrada, Cotto, Vargas (both) Mayorga, Margarito..And DAMN. That Ni99a was tired as hell by round 5. But because he had a significant speed advantage...a tried Mosley was still faster than the average fighter...or at least the fighters he was fighting. FLOYD WAS A DIFFERENT ANIMAL ALL TOGETHER. A fighter that gets better as the fight goes on. So it was quite obvious that Floyd won that fight....IN TRAINING.

It was a thread on here the same day saying Floyd didnt no what the hell he was talking about. They said Brian kenny owned Floyd cause Floyd couldnt tell him what fight Mosley got tired in. They all look like fools now cause Floyd knew what the hell he was talking about that day. Brian was like Mosley doesnt get tired what are talking about floyd, which fight and blah blah blah. Dumb ass Brian Kenny.

mosley also stresses himself out for no reason which makes you tired too, he just tenses himself right up. like forrest mosley 2 shane gassed in round 1.

he loses a few rounds in a row and its like mentally he quit but his heart makes him fight on. another problem.

Yep I saw HBO's trainer segment (in this case it was the fathers of the the fighters) for Maywweather/Mosley. Floyd Senior said Shane was jittery, and as soon as he said that I knew exactly what he was talking about.

LOL I knew I would get a response like this no matter what my 1st post would be like. I posted it here, because I knew you people do your homework. Like I said, I'm huge Mayweather fan, but as I was rewatching the fight I found that interesting.

Nothing fishy, Mosley simply showed his age, nothing fishy about it, that typical when someone pushing 40 tries to compete with the P4P #4 in the world.
