    WAR MOSLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Floyd will win. I will say though that Shane looks sharp.

I'm genuinely torn. I think Mosley can do it... but this comes down to foot speed and body work.

One thing that is encouraging is that when Floyd Sr said 'this fight was supposed to happen 3 or 4 times' Shane looked genuinely pleased.

I think he can't wait to get in there. I don't think Floyds bad mouthing/mind games has done anything to Shane.

It's only the simpletons who could think so. 'Shane and Nazim replied - that's what Floyd wanted!'

Em... if they hadn't replied, he'd have just said that they were intimidated or something. It was a no-win situation when Floyd fans are muppets like Olu and Hagman.

Anyway, Shane looked really positive. He just wants to get in and fight. And, actually, I think Floyd really looks more bothered. All that cockiness has disappeared the last few days. Shane isn't responding like Oscar or Hatton did. No nerves - Shane's stood against big guys like Forrest and Wright. What's he to be scared of?

I've had an epiphany; as long as Shanes punch resistance hasn't dwindled due to time/inactivity (a possibility) I think he's going to give Floyd Hell tonight.

Seems like they're working on angles to implement against an opponent up against the ropes. That's a GREAT sign. Coupled with Shanes handspeed/combinations/athletic slugging-style, and the fact that Floyd looks just as old as Shane (in the face) I'm starting to think it might be a bit closer than I previously anticipated.

But then again, that's what 24/7 wants us to think.

That's the only place Floyd's legs give him no advantage.

True. If Shane winds up though Floyd will just move out of range, re-establish at centre ring, pot shot, back to the ropes, move away, pot shot ALL NIGHT.

Hope Shane is more subtle going for points throughout the fight rather than trying to take Floyds head off all the time. Richardson will keep him on the right route, no doubt about that.

I'm a massive Mosley fan, I hope he can pull it off. But stylistically he doesn't seem to be in with much of a shout.

I thought Shane would struggle at first, but I rewatched the Margarito fight and, without fail, Shane always came back to the game plan. He never got drawn into heated exchanges. He'd fire his shots then move off. unlike against Mayorga where he stayed inside and tried to take his head off.

Stylistically, i think he's got things that Floyd doesn't like either.

Agree 100%. Floyds supposedly impenetrable defence looks above average against combinations IMO.

floyd is the better boxer, never mind speed or size. floyd will work him out early and comfortably outbox mosley to a one sided points win. no danger

This is why I have so little time for the Floyd pick. They think he's a sure thing while delivering generalised statements like the above.

It is lazy analysis...but it doesn't make the Floyd pick wrong. Personally I'm scoobied as to how this fight will pan out. I'm just looking foward to an interesting and potentially incredible fight.
