they will choose to believe what roach has to say. here they believe him but when roach says that floyd has shot legs and will get beaten up by pac, they don't. roach also said that oscar could not pull the trigger when he coached him for the floyd fight but joyboys rarely mentions it.

That's the most ridiculous statement I've read.

Pac was a HUGE betting underdog against De La Hoya, almost everyone believed he would lose and their were serious fears he might get badly injured. DLH was ripped like no other fighter before him for taking the fight as it was seen as a complete mismatch.

These ****in clowns now saying a 5'6" 135lb Pacquiao who'd only had 1 fight above 130 cherry picked DLH.. lol honestly, it's like these idiots just got out of primary school and started following boxing yesterday

Oscar was -180 and Pacquiao was +135 in Las Vegas, the day of the fight. I would know, because I was there and everyone I saw at the sportsbook was betting on Pacquiao. Those are very close odds if you ask me... Hardly seen as a mismatch.

Everyone OUTSIDE of Oscar's camp assumed he would win, but almost everyone INSIDE Oscar's camp knew he wasn't the same. Valero, for instance, sparred with Oscar for just 8 rounds and made him quit. He predicted Pacquiao would easily KO Oscar because he wasn't even training.

Pacquiao WAS 135lbs. He entered the ring at 146 at light-weight, and actually entered the ring 1.5lbs BIGGER than Oscar at welter-weight. Oscar didn't "pick on Pac", he was baited into the fight by Roach who saw how horrible he looked against Forbes. Pac only needed to gain 1lb to hit the WW limit, while Oscar needed to lose damn near 20lbs. Tell me which is more difficult.

Not a single fan of boxing supports Manny's BS.

It is all soccer fans and cricket fans and the odd MMA fan. I've got nothing against MMA, but boxing is a different sport.

Fighting Oscar at 147 is fine. Oscar not able to rehydrate past 147 is the problem. At least allow him to go up to 150 or something.

Same thing with Cotto, fighting at 145 only takes away from Pac's greatness, but still not that bad. But forcing him to not weigh more then 147 on fight night is the problem.

At the same time he did his job vs Hatton and Clottey.

Roach is a very honest man in how he tells it when he sums up a boxer. The funny thing is all these video clips were laughed at by people who thought Roach was talking **** at the time. Each and every one of the things Roach said in these clips was denied by the PAc haters and argued about daily on ESB. So you're right, the scary part of the video was all of Roach's predictions coming true when no one else could see it. What the PAc haters have to wise up to is Roach just predicted the end of their man. They need to sober up and listen to Roach because Pacquaio is gonna shock them again. :deal

    this video is complete BULL****.
I dont believe pacquiao is a tiny guy! But mayweather is clearly a natural at 147 wheras pacquiaos natural weight at the moment is probably around 140!

The cotto fight was at a catchweight of 145! two ****ing pounds are gonna make a big difference aint they?!?!

And Pacquiao had big wins in his career before the jump to welterweight! Those just capped them off. The win against cotto is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than floyds win against mosely!
Mosely has been looking like **** for years now! he fought margarito who had just been caught with LOADED gloves u really think his mind was on the fight?!??!!? NOT TO MENTION cotto whooped shane!

Pacquiaos wins against oscar, hatton and cotto may not be soo impressive. But mayweather has next to no resume at 147! Judah coming off a loss, ten loss BALDOMIR, HAtton a guy who only ever fought once at 147, MARQUEZ?!?!?! mosely was a decent win but not as good as pacquiaos was against cotto.

Since mayweather has moved to 147 he aint done shitt

The odds for Pacquiao shortened on fight night, as was mentioned on the telecast. Such good odds offered on such a proven great fighter was hard to resist and there were bound to be alot of bets on Pac immediately before the fight, especially after the weigh in where Oscar was only 145 and looked gaunt.

But it was seen as a mission impossible of sorts for Pac by virtually everyone from when the fight was announced. I only recall PacDBest being brave enough to say Pac would win (he became an ESB legend because of this) and Teddy Atlas, but only cos he hated Oscar. Hence after the win all the hoopla surrounding it with guys like Merchant comparing Pac to Henry Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson.

And it was Larry Merchant who first brought up the idea of this fight, which no-one took seriously until Oscar pursued it after Mayweather pulled out of their rematch. Stop making up ****.

You guys will stop at nothing. Sure Oscar had to cut down to a weight he hadn't fought at for many years. But that's what he agreed with to make the fight seem just the slightest bit credible. People considered it and what effect it could have, no question. But they were still picking Oscar, which goes to show what a mismatch it actually was seen as.

The fact is Oscar had to go down one weight class, while Pac went up 2 (after only 1 fight at 135). Your logic is stupid. Marquez's walk around weight was probably the same as Pac's. We all saw how outmatched he was going from 135 to welterweight and he's bigger than Pacquiao. Next you will be saying Hatton is ducking Vitali Klitschko. You loonies need to stop hating and let go of your morbid fantasies of Pac being seen as an average fighter. He's proven his greatness and earnt his legendary status. You ain't changing history.

I've been saying this for a long time now. Pacquiao's career has been carefully managed it's pathetic to have him rated so high.
