Sometime ago I started a poll to see what the members of ESB thought would be the result of the upcoming match between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Sugar Shane Mosley. You can find the poll here: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=203944 I left the poll up for a long time to give everybody who wanted to vote a chance. According to the numbers, approximately 59% of those who voted feel Mayweather will win a Unanimous Decision. Approximately 18% of those who voted feel Mosley will win via KO/TKO. So there you have it, the majority of those voted feel Mayweather will get the decision, but the majority of those who voted for Mosley feel he will get the win via KO. I personally can't wait for this fight, should be a great fight. On a side note, did anyone see the second episode of 24/7? That little 6 year old, Floyd Diaz aka Cash Flow, is sick! He does the mitts better than some professional fighters! Can't wait to see him in 15 to 20 years in the ring.
It's just like someone (can't think of who off top) said when Floyd was going to fight Juan. Those picking Floyd are expecting him to win, those picking Shane are hoping that he wins. That is why everyone who picks Mosley is picking him by TKO/KO. Its wishful thinking. They are hoping Mosley KOs Mayweather.
I bought the mosley/mayweather ring magazine and it has 20 critics give their picks, 17 pick floyd and 3 pick shane. Is this really the general consensus?
personally i just see Mayweather cruisng to a relatively easy UD, i don't think the fight is going to be all that spectacular but i hope i'm proved wrong, Mayweather gets the job done as usual but in a boring manner, I'm sure Mosyley is going to give it his all but i don't think it's going to be good enough
