Kevin Iole of yahoo sports reported that Mayweather vs Mosley generated about 1.1 or 1.2 million PPV buys. If this is true, is Mayweather still the ultimate cash cow? Would he have been able to generate 700,000 buys versus Clottey? Would Pacquiao have been able to generate 1.2 million buys versus Mosley?

Think I'll wait for the official numbers before I call the ppv a disappointment.

If true, I believe a PAC/Mosley fight would have done better numbets.

It's on The Scene. Iole's original remarks came via his Twitter account:

    http://twitter.com/KevinI/status/13331632777

The Scene wrote an article around what Iole tweeted. And that's the latest, as far as I know.

    hahahahahahaha

    its really disapointing

PACQUIAO vs CLOTTEY was not in VEGAS with no promotion

    and did 700 000 K

CLOTTEY had only 1 fan of 50 000 people.

ELLIE SECKBACH found only 1 fan.

and FLOYD did everything to hurt his PPV buys by spreading lies that Pacquiao is steroid freak.

and FLOYD fought MOSLEY which is AMERICAN STAR

with all promotion in a world,24/7,superball interview, numerous press conference and did some shitty numbers like 1.1 million

MOSLEY and COTTO are on same star level

PACQUIAO vs COTTO was 1.4 million

PACQUIAO is bigger start and its scientificly proven

You're welcome. Happy to help! :good

Most people on here will call it The Scene because people know you can't link to it or spell out the name here, so the nickname works. :happy
