You're definitely getting carried away here. Next time don't pick the guy whose prime took place in the previous decade and you won't have this problem.

Who said anything about Floyd? I was referring to you picking Mosley to beat Floyd and then being blown away when it didn't come to be. That win didn't change much to anyone who looked at it with a level head from the beginning (i.e. anyone who didn't pick Shane;)).

Actually Flea:patsch I mean El bujia i even stated before the fight that i wore my heart on my sleeve and thats why i was going with Shane. I knew Floyd was a great fighter but what boosted his level of greatness imo was, that i saw a legit strong Welter in there, ive always known he was a great fighter but IMO he showed he was a great WELTER, He will beat the socks off Manny:bbb:yep

Napoles is light years better than anyone Floyd ever fought ... I have seem zero to believe Floyd survives against a prime Napole at 147. Napoles is likely top five all time at 147. Just a slight step up from a 38 year old Mosley ...

He showed he was a very good Welter. I don't see how this performance shows him to be a great one, depending on your standards, of course. A great fighter, though, sure. Whether or not he beats Pacquiao is up to debate, though I don't see anyone's socks going anywhere. Pacquiao has the footspeed and stamina that Shane so lacks these days, so if Floyd does win I'm sure it won't be in a similar manner.

As an aside, what's with this "Flea" nonsense that leaves you smacking your head so often?

What I saw in Napoles first bout with Hedgeman Lewis (the second go was in a way too small ring for a mover like Lewis) gives me lots of reason to think Floyd would be a decent pick if they had met in their primes. That having been said Napoles had no stamina problems like Mosely
has shown several times, could slip and counter and well as any past master, and when he wanted to could throw one hard ko punch. I'm leaning Floyd here based on the above bout and how easily Monzon speared Jose with straight right hands.

His resume isnt exactly on par with the greatest welters but its still pretty solid even though Oscar,Shane were past it both were still elite fighters Zab,Baldomir,Gatti were also solid wins.
Pac has more speed than Mosely does these days, but that will be shortly neutralized by the 5th round.

Oh your opinions sound like Flea and i havent heard from him in a long time, you sound like you know everyone around here despite your newbie Avatar and amount of posts.

Napoles was 35 years old at the time ( or three years younger than Mosley last night) fighting a 6' tall, all time great middleweight champion who was in his own prime. Mayweather will not even fight the top welterweights of his own day (Williams and Paq). Let's try apples to apples here ...

I don't think much of any of the wins you named, by the way, anarci. Least of all Gatti, now there's a head-smacker.:patsch

Socks are important, Manny doesnt win unless he wears his lucky socks, doesnt have his unlucky blood test and remembers his lucky EPO

Whats it with everyone with new ids on here
