I agree he would be difficult for freitas but I think Freitas would have nailed him sooner or later. As for Corrales. Hamed 5ft 3 to Diego who was closing on 6ft. lol that would have been pretty freaky. :rofl
Yeah, it would be freaky as ****. But you would have to admit that Chico was never one who used his height and reach to the greatest effect. I would bet that Naz's constant taunting would bring Corrales to the inside within 2 rounds and then its anyone's game. Party time
i agree. PBF is out of naz league. he was too flawed to compete at mayweathers level freitas v naz would be amazing. i think corrales has too much height for naz
NAZ in his prime could be PBF definitely, and at any time would have a chance just because of his power, Naz could stop PBF, PBF couldnt stop Naz.
Corrales' pourous defence and want to get inside would be all wrong against Naz, who hit like a horse kicks. What a fight it would be, Corrales had great power as well, but by fighting inside is right in the line of fire against Hamed.
styles make fights and it would be like pinning jelly to a tree for nas, floyd was sensational at that weight, floyd by convincing decision unless nas's power bailed him out but i can't see that to honest
got to disagree i think FMJ is 10x the fighter Why do you say that Mayweather had never been down at that point in his career and looked to have a decent chin. I am sure a big SFW with a decent chin could take a small FW with excellant powers punches. Also Floyd is hardly going to let his chin out to dry so a lucky punch is definitly out of the question, Mayweather is far too skilled to get stopped here. you ever saw that photo with Mosley and i think it was Brown, they fought and brown must have been 5ft no more he was a midget. how could Naz beat the most talented fighter of this generation and have the chance to stop him at any time. Floyd has only been down once or twice all flash knockdowns. He has never been hurt or in obvious danger of being stopped. As for Floyd stopping Naz it could happen Floyd at SFW could hit was more aggresive, had great movement and countered very well. He can clinicly pick apart Naz and stop him late like what he did to Corrales I see this fight as an easy win for Mayweather. Mayweather is my number 2 SFW behind Arguello and even that is a close fight to call. Floyd has all the advantages in this fight and at SFW was alot more aggresive than he has been lately. He moved much better and used movement to set up attacks. He also hit hard and was alot faster. He has too much speed and skill for Naz and can stop him late. Nazs best chance is to frustrate him and pressure him but i really dont see Naz having the skillset to trouble Floyd going forward and he would walk into alot of Floyd counter right hands as he came forward. Also Floyd wouldnt stand in front of him with his shoulder roll he would move and keep Naz off balance. how many of you guys picking Naz have saw Floyds brilliance at SFW he was very very special i think afew of you guys are thinking of a higher weight Mayweather and comparing that easy mistake to make. Just watch his fights at SFW
Note to the ******s: Thats how you make a strong argument. Fair play Greg. I think prime Hamed was a vry special talent and perhaps Mayweathers equal but much like Buster Douglas his greatest night was never again replicated. Pre Robinson Naz was a talented, hungry fighter and that gave him the edge that he clearly lost once he was champion. I rate prime Hamed so highly and perhaps I am slightly over-rating him but can't argue too much with your praise of money. Where do you put Chavez? I have him higher then Arguello. I think he'd have beaten both Mayweather and Arguello. Also Azumah Nelson?
Apparantely Naz and Mayweather bumped into each other in a lift in Las Vegas around this time 1998 /99 But they both started talking telephone numbers purses in order to fight each other I think they both wanted to avoid each other I think Naz would have won in 1998 Mayweather looked impressive blasting out Manfredo But Hamed would have sparked him early too Hamed would have too much for Mayweather in 1998 Mayweather was still a young pro Hamed was a serious banger and a more experienced pro Mayweather was not good enough to win Olympic Gold and this is only a couple of years after Mayweather would have lost a decsion I feel
thanks mate i did that pretty quick so its abit sloppy Mayweathers greatest night was never replicated? what fight is that? I rate Hamed highly too but i honestly feel Maywather is just very very special a once in a lifetime fighter (well twiceas Pac man popped up as well) Like you say Naz was talented and hungry but so was Floyd all he knew in life was boxing so he was hungry and he was IMO more talented than Naz. Chavez is 3rd a fight with FMJ is close and i cant decide a winner will think some more. Theres no way he beats Arguello, pressure fighters are in for hell against the explosive thin man. Azumah nelson is 4th a great warrior havent saw that much of him though but i hear he might be in Aberdeen for the mcAlister fight so hopefully i get a photo with hm and afew words interresting Mayweather was robbed in the olympics FLINT. also Mayweather was a mature fighter when he was young he didnt improve much from his first few fights till he won the title he was just amazing to start with
Do you see a huge difference between Naz circa 95 and 98 then HOS? I know there were certain things that changed inside and outside the ring, and, for whatever reason his style was more sloppy and not quite as devastating and effective, but I haven't really considered exactly how big the difference was. For me, the most formidable version of Naz was the one that fought Bungu in 2000. Not saying that was the best version overall, but I think that particular performance was immense.
When Mayweather started to move up the weights He ended up as a Light Welterweight and even Welterweight and Light Middleweight And he would have been too much for Naz then However at Super Featherweight - Naz has a good chance of winning Castillo was unlucky not to get the decsion against Mayweather at Lightweight For all his skills and talent - Floyd has never been dynamic enough Naz was dynamic - very dynamic - he could KO people with cork screw uppercuts and crazy **** like that Mayweather just seems to me a more solid all rounder Thats why Mayweather is no way better than a Prime Roy Jones Jnr Roy Jones Jnr was very dynamic also - Mayweather is not
