That was after the passing of Levander Johnson default gloves for 147 and up are 10 ounces unless both sides agree to 8
Floyd has used 8s before but either grants or winnings most would assume he hasnt but the padding on those gloves make them look like 10 ounces but they are 8

Unless Victor brings a gun into the ring, he's not stopping Floyd.

When he fought Hatton you had to use 10 oz. from 140 up in Vegas. The NSAC changed it to the current rule where 10 oz. is the default but both can agree on 8 oz. in order to get the Cotto/Margarito fight.

Not sure what this means. Oscar fight was a junior middle weight fight. Junior middleweights wear 10 oz gloves.

At welterweight, if I recall correctly, fighters can wear 8 oz if both fighters agree, otherwise default is 10oz at WW too.

Yeah great brave Ortiz will stop him lol Floyd is an ******* outside the ring, but he is so much better than Ortiz that its not even close he will be better in his 40s than Victor will ever be, Floyd should take 16oz so ortiz doesnt quit and we see the whole 12 rounds of schooling!!!:smoke
