Some good commentary....some not. Call me a Klit nut hugger, but I still don't think we should use our hard earned cash for hype. While in America, I do not know if Klit vs Haye was pay per view there. Point being, we should not support garbage fights. I can wait a week and watch on HBO. The fact May whether will not fight Pac, for the best of the best, pound for pound, we should not support. Maybe I'm old, but for me it has always been the best of the best. Khan was fantastic tonight. He was the best, but how many garbage belts did Judah have????! What is that crap. I am an absolute boxing fan, but that is where MMA has it right. You know who the man to beat is and you can't get out of it. Fight you sissy's
It is still a better tune up than what would have been if Pacquiao didn't exist = Spadafora Now there is no escape after this tuneup. Sergio, Pac even Khan. Nowhere to run nowhere to hide. It will unfold over the next 24 months or less and we can see what is what.
Lol at the "Mayweather doesn't want the fight" bull****, At this point I don't give a **** if he fights Manny or not, if Manny won't test **** him, simple as that.
PPV's usually are a chance to get together with friends anyway, drink beers, talk **** hopefully enjoy a good fight. Get 4 friends to chip in $10 bucks, and make it so that even if the fights sucks at least you had some fun with your peoples.
I think the main event will turn out to be a complete mismatch, but am still buying the PPV. It will be my first PPV of 2011, I think. I'm not sure I even bought any in 2010. Maybe one or two of the cheap ones (like Jhonny Gonzalez vs. Jackson Asiku)
IB you remember that fight on SHOWTIME few months ago Bogere vs Beltran ? You heard anything about a rematch or there next bouts ?
 It won't be just casual fans. They look to be putting a very solid undercard together. REAL boxing fans buy a PPV for the whole card, not just the main event. I also think Mayweather-Ortiz - while not being competitive - will be a good styles match-up. Ortiz will keep trying (and failing), and it will be fun to watch. He will force Mayweather to be more active than usual with his countering, and possibly take him a bit out of his comfort zone and induce some minor stress in a few moments...but still get smacked silly coming forward.
its a boring fight that cannot be spun as something good. bring on Martinez or stay retired mayweather.
I think this is a tougher fight for Mayweather than most expected. Or maybe its just because Ortiz looked so beast and strong vs Berto. I mean he looked like a man on a mission and looked in amazing shape.
