all along with primetime I was able to order through my remote but when it comes to the Mccloskey fight Irish fans suddenly cant order unless they ring. Same with the Judah fight. Because of the ******s workin at primetime both those phone calls cost me over 40 euro. Means I paid 120 quid for 2 cards with shite production values. Terrible sound quality and Wayne Mccullough trying to pimp himself out to promoters. Whats that saying again.... Fool me once youre a ****, fool me twice your a **** now **** off you ****in ****

true and ill usually frequent the licensed kebab shop if the qualitys high but if they think theyve got one over on the health and hygene man and the quality takes a dip then its always nice to know where the backstreet kebab shop is:good

Laz are u stupid? Why should anyone be happy that a shot channel has taken a top card off the better channel and are making us pay for it? It would have been on sky for free. A better channel..better everything..for free.

And for no reason whatsoever they want us to pay for it on a **** channel..WHEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FREE on a better channel!

Can't u see why this is ****? Take your embarrasing tongue out of khans urethra and stop being a dick. Your only bumming primetime cos it's khans channel.

    I think it's a decent enough card.

Still not paying £15 for it though.

Sky would have almost certainly shown this for free if it weren't for Primetime. GBP wouldn't have turned down Sky's offer if that was the only offer on the table.

I'm all for competition in the industry, and it'd be great if it was bought by someone intending to put it out free-to-air. This is a backwards move for boxing though. If Mayweather-Ortiz sets a precedent and Sky have to enter a bidding war with Primetime over any semi-decent card, Sky could end up ditching a lot more bouts and leave us paying £15 for any old fight with PT.

Kudos to Primetime for showing the Super Six when no-one else would, and I've bought every* boxing event they've shown beforehand, but I've not always been treated to the same quality product that I think my money allows. Some gripes from memory:

    1. Frequent stream loss throughout Froch/Dirrell (I understand I may have been one of the luckier ones that night though)

    2. Watching the majority of the Klitschko/Johnson card with NO commentary whatsoever

    3. When I wasn't able to stay up for Abraham/Dirrel I avoided the result all Sunday so I could watch the repeat stream I'd paid for when I got in, and was presented with a ticker-tape news feed above the login box telling me the result. (Devil's in the details PT!)

To be honest, I'm tempted to get it. But I know that if I, and the majority of the boxing fans over here don't succumb to temptation, the next time Floyd fights someone else who isn't Pacquiao, I'll be watching it as part of my Sky subscription with a £15 Jalfrezi, rice and stuffed paratha on my lap.

*Almost. Didn't they do Holyfield/Botha? No-one's paying for that sucka.

Laz, i's not THAT good a card. Actually, it's a bunch of mismatches. Mayweather will trounce Ortiz in depressing, boring style. Alvarez will light Gomez up - it'll be fun, but utterly predictable. Morales-Matthysse? Really? Another mismatch - Morales LOST to Maidana, remember and Matthysse is better than his fellow countryman. When the **** did Mcewen or Ouma become PPV attractions? Vargas-Lopez is alright.

£15 for a bunch of fairly uncompetitive fights, and a couple of alright ones. That's terrible value for money. Just because it's three big names fighting doesn't mean it's a good card.

Sure, I can understand that. Once again, as I said, it's personal preference.

    I disagree, personally.

That's really better than the card I showed? :huh Don't really see it, but alright.

I've already said three times and whether it being on 4AM or UK Primetime, it's down to the person itself. Me personally, I'm awake till late, so it makes zilch difference to me.

I think it's the other way round. Let's get this straight. First of all, how the **** did a 'shot channel' take off a top card off a better channel?

If you did some research before barking, you'd know that GoldenBoy offered this PPV to Sky and Primetime. Primetime outbid them. It was never on Sky in the first place.

Last I checked, I pay for Sky. Nothing is free in this world.

The **** do you mean 'for no reason'. I don't know what ****ing world you live in, but entertainment isn't free. Paying for a good card is down to you. If you don't, then go find a stream where you can watch it in shitty quality. I'm not forcing you or persuading you to buy it. My argument is that it's a PPV worthy card.

NO IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FREE, moron.

Embarassing tongue? Wow, coming from a guy who's just typed a load of absolute ****? Look in the mirror, my friend.

    I buy good PPV's. Khan-McClown was never a good PPV. Just because I made a build-up thread, doesn't mean I'll buy it.

    ****.
