They would be the exact same. In HD, better commentary, sure, it would be even nicer.

I remember supporting the Mag 7 PPV, and people ripped me for saying it's not worthy, but when it turned out to be a brill card, people were making threads on how we need more PPV's like this.

If it wasn't for Primetime, this would be included in our Sky subscription. If we pay for this then we are saying that we think it's acceptable to pay £15 for a US show in the middle of the night. Again pushing Boxing further into obscurity. If we don't and it's a failure, Primetime won't do it again, and it will be back included in our Sky subscription.

7 fairly even fights, at UK primetime, big difference to a decent card from the states at 4am.

    You are.

we dont have to stay up till 4am for mag 7 cards.

£15 wont kill anyone but when usually have it free £15 is £15 too much

i have a few friends who watch the domestic matches and the odd big matches they were gonna watch ortiz-floyd but when they heard its on ppv none of them will bother.

primetime is ran by a pimp who dont give a ****.

Laz...lets say Ramadan is over. you are out with your mates and really fancy a chicken tikka kebab with everything on. however, there is only one kebab shop in the area and they've just decided to raise the price of their kebabs to 15 quid. you are hungry and you really do love kebabs.

    do you buy it? :think

Doesn't this analogy need 2 kebab shops, an old kebab shop and a new kebab shop, in order hold?;)

if thats the case, then the old kebab shop will need to be rumoured to have turned its back on kebabs and will currently be closed for summer refurbishment

i never had a problem with primetime advertising their khan fights here

but now theyve gone made it personal taking away a fight we should normally see for free, i hope the venus guy receives aids in the brain and so does his employers.

    "If it wasn't for Primetime"....

Well it is. That's hardly a reason to cry about it. People don't like change. I'm not supporting on-going PPV's, but a PPV here and there won't kill a man.

Well can you please explain to me why a PPV of this standard isn't acceptable? If there was a PPV not as good as this one, I would NOT support it. This is a good PPV, and that's why I'm supporting it.

Do you honestly think a few hundred hardcore Boxing fans who buy a good PPV will make the difference of it being back on Sky? Really?

I don't know about you, but I love my Boxing, and I'm sure you do, but the fights on this card excite me. I've said in my first reply to you, the 3 of the 5 on this card are good fights, and the others just add spice.

What do you consider PPV worthy nowadays then?

Fairly even? Really? You might want to check that card again. Just because they come out as good action fights, doesn't make it seem that they're even fights. That card was exciting, but the fights were hardly 'fairly even fights'.

Personally, I don't care if it's at 4AM. I stay up till about 3 on a average night regardless, and I try to watch Boxing wherever I can, but I guess this is one's personal preference.

    I'm not.

You stay up till freakin' 4AM anyway!

It's not about Ortiz-Floyd though, it's about the card! People really aren't looking at what's on the card. I really don't give two shizzle's about Floyd-Ortiz. I really like the undercard.

I disagree. They try to satisfy us, and I think people are just overly harsh.

I really don't think that analogy works, mate.

I wouldn't, no, because It'd not be worth that much, and I'd go elsewhere to eat something else.

With the PPV, I can't go elsewhere and try to watch the same thing, if you know what I mean.

By the way, I'm fasting, and you're making me hungry. *******

The old kebab shop is doing **** kebabs and is now mainly concentrating on vegetarian quiches but luckily there is a new kebab shop just opened.

Unfortuneatly you've already become a member of the **** kebab shop and are paying them to make vegetarian quiches you don't want while the new kebab shop wants paying up front for their kebabs.

But the kebabs you used to get at the old kebab shop were a lot better than the ones at the new shop.:think
