No, people don't like change when it costs them £15 (+£2.50).

It's not acceptable because it's not an incredible card, and it's on at 4am.

If Primetime aren't profitable then they won't carry on doing this.

Mag 7 card, Echo card + Khan, Haye-Klitschko. Those sort of things. Good cards (either stacked or BIG fights) at UK prime time.

    Cleverly - Murat
    Chisora - Sexton
    Konecny - Hall
    Enzo Mac - Frenkle

and was due to have Macklin - Barker.

But you could have if it was free?

    Caught ya out, pal. ;)

Him being Muslim really has little behind my being a fan, to be honest. There's plenty of Muslim Boxers out there. You don't see me support them as much.

He does share the same ethnicity as me though, so that is a reason I do support him, and watching him on ITV is how I got into Boxing, so more the reason to support the man.

I can understand that £2.50 extra. I wouldn't like that, but once you buy one, you're set forever, and you don't have to pay it again. Wallet, being honest, has that really been the main reason people don't want to pay for this? I've hardly seen that brought up.

Ok, sure, it's not incredible, but we never get a PPV that is .

A few hundred hardcore fans won't make them substantial profit that would be the turning point of whether to carry on giving PPV's to Primetime or not.

    Does..

    Cleverly - Murat
    Chisora - Sexton
    Konecny - Hall
    Enzo Mac - Frenkle

    really compare to...

    Mayweather-Ortiz
    Alvarez-Gomez
    Morales-Matthysse
    Vargas-Lopez
    McEwan-Ouma

Personal preference again, I guess, but I'm liking the second card a lot more.

I'm sorry, pal, but the reasons people have been highlighting aren't really the one's you've been telling me.

All I've been seeing is, "what a rip off" "this aint worth £15" "floyd-ortiz is a mismatch".

I honestly think I put up a fair argument on this, but I keep getting a shellacking from people .

I can't speak for everyone but I think the majority of people won't be buying it out of principle. I don't think there are many on here who can't afford to pay £15, but plenty who choose not to. The fact that it's not an incredible card is also going to influence whether people want to stay up for it. It's really not a 'must see' attraction.

Given that hardcore boxing fans are going to be a large portion of their target audience, I'd say a mutual feeling between Boxing fans that it doesn't warrant paying for would effect their profit margins.

Yeah, it's better. 4 fairly even match ups compared to what? Mayweather most likely beating Ortiz with ease in a dull affair, Alvarez in a mismatch and the joys of seeing a shot Morales being beat. The other two are decent. What you seem to be forgetting is that this card is on at 4am, compared to UK prime time. [/QUOTE]

No. Sky bid for it, but GBP chose to go with Primetime instead.

Once Primetime are fully set up, they really do need to ditch charging up £15 an event, £15 a month with fights weekly would be a great addition, but nobodies paying £15 for a single event at Stupid O'clock on a Sunday morning.

    What a disgrace.

A great card I'm going to miss. Absolutely refuse to pay £15 for something sky usually put on for nothing. Not paying it. Thanks for nothing. **** PPV and **** primetime.

And well done GBP your pettiness has just ensured that less than half the normal audience will see the fight. To take your fights off the biggest and only relevant sports broadcaster in this country is really cutting your nose off to spite your face.

    I hope nobody buys it
