It's all a suspension of disbelief so we can believe whatever we want to believe while we're being entertained.

I know Ortiz is probably going to get schooled, but I like to think he might knock floyd out..... funner to go with your emotions than your head and every once in a while it pays off.

What it probably happened was that Ortiz was matching him for trash talking and he thought he would go one better by getting physical.
It's not a big deal but wasn't needed.
