should be a cracking fight. the thing that makes the fight so intriguing is that floyd has problems against southpaws, and pacquiao is a southpaw. pacquiao has problems with counter punchers, and floyd is a counter puncher. it seems that they're both the perfect fighters to give each other problems. am i the only one who finds that fascinating?

nope im the same. also if watch oscar vs floyd, everytime oscar thre combinations, floyd would find the speed a little awkward to roll and defend. Pacquaio will throw faster combinations from all angles. it would be interesting to see how floyd handles that. For Pac, it would be a matter of how he manages floyds unpredictable punches and how he retaliates.

I don't care which one of these you support. The fact is, its not going to be as easy as floyd says. 50/50.

it shouldn't be easy for either fighter, and that's what i hope. a fight as intriguing as this should be great. it has so much on the table as these are the two best boxers on this planet, and they both have the sort of ability to cause each other problems. this could be a much better fight that many people believe. i just hope floyd is not too smart for pacquiao, because i would like this to be close, and i really hope pacquiao can do that, i just got a feeling that he's going to have problems, and maybe not good enough defensively.

the problem i have with pacquiao in this fight is he commits to every punch. yes they hurt when they land, but when he misses he leaves himself wide open to a counter, and floyd is the sort of boxer that gets you to miss and then counters cleanly afterwards. that's the problem i have with pacquiao. floyd's problem could be workrate as pacquiao throws non-stop, which floyd doesn't do. yes floyd doesn't have stamina problems, but he doesn't fight at the pace pacquiao does either. will pacquiao slow down to think though if he keeps missing and gets countered a lot, i think he's going to have too otherwise he's going to get busted up.

This fight will be hard to judge imo. If pac becomes confused on floyd's counters and defense, I see it UD for Floyd. If Floyd could not cope up with pac's agressiveness and iron chin, Floyd's in troubles in the later round, Pac TKO11 Floyd. Damn, this will be an exciting fight and there could be a Pacquiao-Mayweather Trilogy!!!

pacquiao throws a lot of punches non-stop, the problem is he throws left-rights-left-rights, so wheres his guard? he has no guard, so when he misses, he's ****ed. i feel floyd is going to catch him time and time again.

exactly. you cannot really predict this fight. its a nightmare for gamblers. you easily flip the coin in favour for either fighter. complete opposite styles. both have styles to beat eachother.

I used to think that way about Pac too, he looks predictable if you watch his fights a lot, but what makes it fascinating is that his previous opponents studied him fight a lot more than most of us, and having the technical abilities to cook up a gameplan, they still managed to find themselves lost come fight night. Floyd is a master boxer, it works perfectly against orthodox, or should we say "textbook" fighters, his timing is superb and a defense that makes you want to bash him with the nearest chair or something. But against an awkward fighter such as Pac, who perpetually throws punches (that may seem 1-dimensional), but comes from different angles at a very fast pace. Not saying Floyd wont hit him, but Floyd will find this very confusing. If Floyd manages to figure Pac out before Pac starts landing those big lefts, then we'll see the rest of the rounds as a boxing clinic. If not, Floyd's going down. Jmm is the only fighter to ever figure Pac out, and he is nowhere similar to Floyd. His counter punching style is somewhat offensive, with those wicked uppercuts and lefthooks and often engages in a brawl (actually, brawling with Pac is dangerous, but this is also where you get the highest chance of hurting Pac.)
unlike Floyd, who hides behind his shoulders and times his punches in between his opponents attack. Pac wont be in the same position after throwing a punch. Floyd better not study the Pac version against Clottey, because Pac didnt train for dealing with speed in that fight.

    Very good vid.

This fight must happen... if it doesnt, then boxing - as well as both guys involved - deserve to die.

    Thats all !
