Mayweather vs PACMAN can you honestly see this fight being made?

I'm very confident it will happen, there is simply too much $$$ to be made for it not to happen and it's the biggest fight out there since Tyson/Holyfield for me.

I would be very surprised if this fight didn't happen next. Who is Floyd supposed to fight instead of Pacquiao? And Mosley is fighting Berto.

 

Ive changed my mind and actually think it will now. I think Floyd will be forced into a bit of a corner here and will take it, then theres the amount of cash he'll make.

Despite him saying he doesnt care what people think, he blatantly does because he's always talking about it, and he's going to look a right knob if he doesnt take this fight. Team Pac arent angels with their demands though either so hopefully they/Arum dont ruin it.

 

Yeah, I think its the fight Mayweather came out of retirement for. Hes not gonna say anything like that because of the whole Arum thing and he wants as much cash as possible but I think this is why hes back.

 

if it doesn't happen it's because PBF wants no part of Pac, he's the one with a lot to lose in that fight.
It would be the biggest fight since....??

Before the fight I didn't think we'd ever see it (even if he won) but seeing as they both said in the ring afterwards that they wanted Mayweather and the amount of people/papers/television shows now mentioning that all roads lead to Floyd/Manny I dont see no way how it can't happen

I didn't believe it would be Mayweather who'd stall either I saw it more along the lines of Arum trying to bend Floyd over and then telling the world it was Floyd stalling. And I genuinely believe its what Floyd came out of retirement for. He thinks he can beat Pacquiao otherwise he'd have avoided it and stayed retired, he's not daft he knew coming out of retirement meant he'd HAVE to fight him.

 

The only concern is this Pac running for congress in May stuff, Arum says a Mayweather fight has to be late April or early May which doesnt really leave loads of time, not for a fight like this anyway but I guess it promotes itself so hopefully they can sort a deal.

i dunno about money, but in terms of boxing and its legacy, this is bigger than Lewis v a shot Tyson. I was thinking more like the biggest since Hagler-SRL.

 

Floyd has described Manny as 'easy work' and 'easy money'

I think he'd be more discreet if he didn't want the fight

The Pacquiao fight is the whole reason Mayweather came back. I think Pacquiao will be the problem in negotiations, not Mayweather. Ask the Hattons, De La Hoya and Marquez who was easair to negotiate a fight with they will all say Mayweather.

 

Pacquiao, and more vocally Roach, are calling Floyd out all the time. Mayweather's being forced into a corner here which is very difficult to get out of. However, if there's an analogy in that then Mayweather is the best in the business at making the other guy commit only to by suckerpunched. It's a fight that could and should be made with both these guys in their prime but we have one massive problem... Floyd's ego. It would have to be made on Floyd's terms. Pacquaio and Roach would probably have to concede more cash than they see fit.

 

This fight will be made as it is the fight with the most cash generating potential out there and both fighters are purely about the greenback
