I just heard the news on the tv. The fight was canceled. Pacquiao is willing to take doping tests before and after the fight under the Nevada rules. Mayweather is not satisfied with it. He is asking for more than what Nevadas`s rule establishes. he is demanding for something that nobody in boxing history has asked. It is clear that Mayweather, who has so much physical advantage over Pacman is scared to lose. I heard that he even asked Pacquiao to fight him at 154 pounds. I have never seen a boxer who is so afraid of losing a fight such as Mayweather. It is a shame that a boxer who claims to be the best in boxing history shows so much scare of a smaller boxer. Whay is your opinion on it ?
The fight was "cancelled" 3 times already. Bob Arum is just blowing a lot of smoke. They're working on alternative solutions to get the fight signed right now.
Relax everyone. Fight will happen. Floyd's got talent. He shouldn't be scared of Pac. What he should be more scared now is that whatever he makes in the fight will be all gone once Pac sues his family and GBP for damages.
my appetite for this fight is waning now because of the drama. it is better for pac to fight someone who is willing to fight him in the ring and not in the press or media.
I imagine it goes the other way, too. I know that I would not be lining up to pay for Pacquiao/Malignaggi, especially in light of these recent events. If anything, Mayweather has the stronger alternative in waiting for the winner of Mosley/Berto.
It's probably all hype for the fight anyway. Pac will take the test and pass it or they will come to some agreement, it will seem like they have genuine hatred for each other. Controversy sells. Then bang we have the biggest fight in a long time.
Just more 24/7 infomercial type **** to sell the PPV. Don't believe the hype. They should both take the standard state mandated tests and beat the **** out of each other on fight night and the best man wins !!!!!!!
I dont see anything unreasonable with PBF's request if Mayweather himself is also willing to go through the same tests.
