Mayweather vs Pacqiuao Shades Of Dempsey vs Tunney

    the First fight that is obviously and on a smaller scale.

    i see this fight being built up behind , Every one inculding the mainstream media is falling inlove with Pacman. hes violent style , his freakish power and speed. tearing through his competition . every one is underestimating the undfeated skillfull boxer. NOw im not saying pac man isn't any good he's a great fighter and capalbe of beating alot of fighters in any era however. when it comes to styles pac will find it very difficult to figure mayweather out. alot of people seem to think PBF will be running from pac or try to match his speed. PBf is a very smart fighter and it will be pacman coming foward yes but will find it difficult to make PBf exchange in a fire fight unlike it was with hatton and JMM. pac will try to implement that side to side in and out movement but will find it difficult and less effective as PBF's long left hand jab is ran into his face ,PBF boxing skill will be on display as he takes command with his jab. pac will make it intresting for the 1st 5 rounds with his speed and athelitism and will get in a few shots but as the fight progressis he will be trunt around more often. the jab will start to puff up pacs eye by the 4th round ,as PBF start to time him more often. the right hand lead will start to find its mark as pac straight left starts to be over thrown with more frequency . however by the 7th pacs starts to realize that his right hook to the body is more effective however PBF starts to counter that with his hook off the jab. eventually pacs ability to see the puches coming at him diminshes and he starts to get timed with the right hand as he comes rushing in. although pbf is in controll for most of the fight Pac makes it tough and presnets a threat. however as the 11th round nears pac gets put down by a crunching striaght right while he's jumping in he is hurt and out if it but makes it up Pbf sensing his career defining fight upto that moment corners him and blast away as the ref steps in to call a halt to the bout just as roach jumps up to the ring to throw in the towel.

    yes i know the Dempsey tunney fight did not play out this way but there are alot of similarites style wise and just like every one was salvating over Demspey for his ferocious style they seemd to over look an unbeaten man( although PBF is more widely known then Tunney was. people felt that Dempsey would batter him. just like alot of mainstream media outlet are influencing the average fan that PAc will simply steam roll over PBF.) PBf is unbeaten for a reason and although he's not unbeatable he does make it pretty dam good case . and for the post quick to point out the castillo fight . i was a close fight and pbf let castillo fight his fight a mistake some young fighters tend to make but he fought hard and got the decison maybe not by as wide of margins . thing is he never made that mistake again . yes he fought close with ODLH but he adapted and was able to take advatage of ODLH failing to use the jab like he had in the first 5 rounds. this is my thought of house this fight plays out.

    Everyone is underestimating the defeated skillful boxer is whats really going on. PEople think Floyd will make Pacquiao look lke Gatti. That's just not happening. Pac has more chances of making Floyd look like Ledwaba

    If PBF overextends on the jab Pac will side step it to the right and pop a straight left in his face or a hook to the body. If Floyd overextends with the straight right Pac will bounce back and pop him with a right hook to the head. If Floyd doesn't commit to his punches he will never land cause Pac is just that fast. Floyd has to have his footwork on double time in this fight. Wait for PAcquiao to commit, and then counter with the right but also follow it up with the left hook. Meanwhile PAcquiao will fire back so PBF better keep moving his head while he throws

    Floyd's defense is kind of open to PAcquiao's offense. He'll have to adjust his style. Pacquiao will definately adjust his to avoid the lead right.

    this fight will be boring as hell, seriously its the second coming of triniadad-oscar 2....a fight that never lived up to the hype.....

    and floyd wins easily 117-111, he will make pac look like a special ed student in there.

    thing is your forget the dimensions of the fighters PBF hold a distinct andvatage in reach over pac and he's accurate pac won't be side steping PBF's long jab.

    Floyd will not be looking to use his foo movement in this fight he will fight like the bigger man . and the jab will nutralize his speed. and PBF will only Hook off the jab if pac is going to the body or on the ropes. thing is pac has a chance just like any fighter but his style and skills will betray him in this fight.

    as accurate as Floyd is JMM is much more accurate so its not like it will be something new for Pacquiao to deal with. Floyd won't be able to use his left hand to nutralize Pac's speed. Other great fighters have tried and failed. Having a big reach advantage can help him keep Pac on the outside but if Pac gets under it then it just means that that the body is that much more open. Pac likes to fight on the outside anyways. I don't see Floyd stopping a Pacquiao lead left by sticking out his jab and I don't see him catching it with his shoulder roll either which has a big hole just for that shot, especially the way Pac double pumps his lead left.

    you can't beat Pacquiao if you don't move your feet. Footwork is even better at nutralizing speed than a good jab especially in a matchup between an othodox and a southpaw. Floyd's footwork is good i know but like I said he will have to have his footwork at its finest to beat Pacquiao or else he will get whipped.

    Pac's skills have always been the most underrated aspect of his game. His defense is amazing as he doesn't get hit easily and his offense is well suited for someone with Floyd's defense. Floyd's adaptability will be his biggest asset in this fight.

    If it does come off, I see it being a huge must see fight for anyone that follows the sport. I see Mayweather just plain outboxing Pac, dont get me wrong Pac is special fighter who can make good fighters look bad, but Pac is a fighting a great boxer who knows how to avoid getting hit with punches that he usually connects on other fighters, like his lead left, which Mayweather will just roll off of and counter him with the "Check Hook". I see the fight being exciting as hell with both men having their moments, but in the end Mayweather will find more openings in the later rounds where he will end up getting the TKO victory around the 11th round.

    Explain to me how Mayweather with his left shoulder tucked against his chin is just gonna roll off a straight left hand. He'd have to twist his body all the way to the side. The same reason Roger always says the fighter to beat PBF is a fighter with a good stick is the reason Pac's left hand will give PBF nightmares.

    Fair enough, I just dont see Pac doing what he did to Hatton, I feel Mayweather is to slick to get caught with those type of punches. I would like to have an avatar bet with you that Mayweather will beat Pac, not only that. I believe Mayweather will put on a boxing clinic for all to see, and I'm about 50/50 on wether Mayweather will stop Pac late in the fight or not.
