Mayweather vs Pacquaio II co-main GGG vs Canelo !! Why couldn't that happen?

It won't happen because it's not lucrative enough to put all the stars on one event. Split them up and produce 2 big events. At the end of the day you will generate more money.

Not saying an event like that won't make money, it will and it's a good thing for the sport but, you and I both know most boxing fans would pay for those fights on separate PPV's.

May would want more than 40%.

That card maybe sells 3 to 3.5 million. Manny/May rematch will do 2-2.5.

Do it with Mayweather getting 55%. Manny 25% and the other two splitting 10%.

 

UFC does it to perfection. They stack cards like MMA is going out of business. I don't see why boxing won't take heed to this and try it. In fact that Crawford vs Postol fight would have been great on the Pac vs Vargas card. Throw in the Loma Walters fight and it's a mega card. Everyone thinks they are a star, but there are only two superstars left.

 

May and Pac are the only superstars and everyone wants to rush them out. Canelo and GGG are stars but not on the level of may and pac. canelo fighting a nobody was a PPV flop. GGG vs nobody was a flop. GGG Canelo might do 1 million buys.

 

Lol? I'm assuming this card is gonna be during a Mexican holiday. Why in blue hell would GBP/Canelo only accept 20%? Pac/Top Rank as well... It's extremely unrealistic.

 

I would buy it for GGG V Canelo it would only be $60 in Australia. Don't think Pac-May would be any different but would sit through it again in case it plays out differently to what I expect. But yeah would watch for GGG-Canelo.

 

Only problem is Postal and Crawford are not huge draws like Mayweather, Pacman and Canelo. These guys are the biggest draws in the last 10 years. So you can put guys like that on the undercard of a Pac/Mayweather fight. But it won't boost PPV sales very much. Your talking putting the 4 biggest draws in the sport today all on one card? From a financial perspective it makes more sense to split the card on 2 different PPV events. From a fan perspective... HELL YEAH, THAT'S A GREAT CARD!!!

UFC can do that cause they are one ORG that represents like 90% of the MMA market

 

Nobody wants to see Mayweather school Manny again.

 

I wouldn't pay a dime to see Floyd-Pac II. I wouldn't watch it if it was on PBS for free.
I wouldn't watch it if it was on the undercard of a PPV that I PAID FOR.

 

T-Mobile arena in Vegas is being reserved for May 6th 2017 by Mayweather Promotions...........
