Now the thought of this two P4P Kings of boxing going up against each other has every boxing fan drooling. To be fair it probably has even the non die hard boxing fans drooling. This has to be by far the biggest fight the boxing world has to offer right now.

Manny Pacquaio has been unstoppable destroying Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto & Joshua Clottey along the way. Floyd Mayweather recently returning from retirement to school a legend in Juan Manuel Marquez & destroy an opponent people said would be Mayweather's biggest test, Sugar Shane Mosley.

Their paths must collide, but i fear egos, money & drug testing will stop us seeing this glorious showdown. Both believe they are the biggest star in boxing right now, both of them believe they are the box office attraction. This will be stumbling block number one in my opinion as i don't believe either will settle on a 50/50 split. One man, either man will want a bigger split of the purse stalling this fight. The drug testing is anothe reason i believe this fight will never happen. Mayweather wants full Olympic style drug testing, but Pacquaio will not fully comply. This will be the biggest stumbling block in my opinion & will be the main reason this fight will not happen. I will say one thing on the drug testing matter, if you are clean & have natural boxing ability then this drug testing should not be a problem. The only reason it becomes a problem is if there is something to hide.

Thats just my humble opinion, this fight needs to happen, but i have very little faith in this happening anytime. Thoughts anyone?

We'll see..i wanna see what floyd says about pac now accepting the 14 days..i believe they should meet at 7 as it would be in the middle of what they both want..

Floyd now wants up until the day of the fight..

    Pac wants 14 days...

    Make it happen at 7

Pac is already comprimising from his original statement.

In reallity, it shouldnt be a negotiation, there should be am overiding regulatory body like there is in every other sport.

I don't blame Pac for not wanting to take the tests, because at the end of the day who is Mayweather to comission boxing.

If this doesnt happen, it will leave a greater dent in their respective legacies than losing the actual fight would.

I think it will happen thrice, with the last one being on network primetime somehow, possibly bringing in Super Bowl-like ratings. (Ok, everything after the first comma of my post is probably waaaaaaaay too unrealistic, but everything before the first comma is doable)

No, I don't think the fight will happen.

Pac would have to get over his fear of blood testing and agree to not cut off dates. I don't see $ caring to meet him in the middle.
