Perhaps Pac will be around 146 and Mayweather will be around 152? Everyone wants to see it and I think eventually it will happen. I'm not sure if it will be at JMW though. Mayweather is recognized as the best at JMW now and Pacquiao is recognized as the best at WW, unless he loses to Timothey Bradley next month. They have several common opponents but this is never a sure indicator of what will happen when two fighters meet. Anyway, they have both faced: Cotto- 2012 Mayweather W12 (I had it 116-112) 2009 Pacquiao KO12 (I had it 109-99 before the KO) -Pacquiao dominated from start to finish, Mayweasther did not. Cotto was able to rock Mayweather, he was ineffective vs. Pac. Mosley- 2010 Mayweather W12 2011 Pacquiao W12 -Both dominated but Pacquiao did so a little more, he also dropped Mosley. Mosley hurt Mayweather, he did not hurt Pac. Marquez- 2009 Mayweather W12 2011 Pacquiao WMD12, 2008 Pacquiao WSD12, 2004 DRAW12 -Mayweather beat him by a wider margin but Pacquiao did more damage. Pac knocked Marquez down 3 times in the 1st round of their 1st fight. Hatton- 2007 Mayweather KO10 2009 Pacquiao KO2 -Hatton had a few moments vs. Mayweather. The only moment Hatton had vs. Pac is when I thought he was dead for a moment in the 2nd round. DeLaHoya- 2007 Mayweather WSD12 2008 Pacquiao KO8 -A case can be made that DeLaHoya beat Mayweather. No such case can be made for DeLaHoya vs. Pac. Yes, Mayweather fought a better prepared DeLaHoya. Cotto, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, and DeLaHoya: Mayweather 5-0 (1) A case can be made that he lost to DeLaHoya.
