the question isnt will it break the record but by how much? around 3.5 mill buys seems logical, what do you think?

2.1 i dont think it beats it. If pac would have done 1.6-1.8 i would have said it would have defo shattered it. Now though I think 1-9-2.1 ppv buys

3.5? Nah. I actually thought Pacquiao - Cotto would do better than 1.2, to be honest. Maybe boxing isn't as popular as I thought it was...I think Pacquiao - Mayweather would hover somewhere around 1.5 or 1.6.

i would bet money that it does more than 3.2... and i absolutely hate gambling... matter of fact i have gambled less than 5 times in my 25 years of living

3.4-3.6 is what it will do

you serious? this is the first time in boxing, two ppv in one year sold over 1 mill in buys. mayweather-marquez, and pac-cotto, back 2 back. couple with the fact that pac and mayweather are the two best p4p fighters, both looked unbeatable, both are the biggest draws in boxing, you got a superfight on your hands, a la leonard-duran.

It's possible it will break the record of 2.1, but unlikely.

I see it between 1.6 and 2.4, so I give it a 37 % chance of breaking the record.

It is the biggest fight out there.

sadly not much in the US. i suspect majority of the buys from both ppv were from the same population. the only difference is the dancing-with-the-stars and pro-wrestling crowd floyd brought. which isn't that much to start with anyways.

however, i can see a bigger buy in the UK as both pac and floyd are known there from their oscar and hatton fights.
