Arum is constantly stating he doesnt want to do buisness with Floyd and vice versa and Floyd is already demanding a bigger cut 60-40 can a deal be done?

Only at 147 and because Pac destroyed Oscar at 147 whats the problem. The problem is at 147 pac gets his ass handed to him. But Arum is the typical jew, if its not on his terms the whole world can go to hell

You mentioned the weight and this is a very good point. Everybody is making a bid deal out of the 60-40 split but the contract weight is also an issue. Are Pacquiao's people letting him fight Floyd at 147 or will they enter negotiations asking for a catchweight? I guess this is as big a factor as the money.

Ali was banned from boxing for draft dodging and was never supposed to be allowed to fight again but the Fraizer fight was made.

Tyson was tied to showtime and Lewis to HBO. It was believed the fight could not be made but the netwroks came together and did a joint telecast using braodcasters from both networks.

DLH said he would never fight Vargas because he didn't want to reward his disrespect with a big payday.

Mayweather and Judah said that they were too good of friends and would never fight each other.

If the money is right any fight can be made, period

If Floyd was serious about fighting manny all he had to do was wait 24 hours!

The fact that he didnt tells you exactly how this is going to go..........its not!

This might be an absurd thought...........but anyway....

There are win bonuses in other sports, so imagine there was one in boxing aswell. With both fighters demanding a 60-40 split in their favour, how about they get 40-40 and the winner gets the extra 20. In the event of a draw 10-10. I know Floyd would never agree to this and there would be No Contest complications, but it would make negotiations easier. Floyd considers himself by far the biggest draw and would never accept less than 60, but if he is really as confident of victory as he comes across, my suggestion would mean he would be expecting 60. I know it will never happen but I just think it would add a bit of financial spice to the equation, and possibly speed up the negotiation process of a fight the fans want to see!

It will happen. Everything is falling apart for Arum. First Roach says he doesnt want to fight Cotto he wants the winner of Mayweather-Marquez. 2nd, Cotto comes out today and says he doesnt want to go past 145 and roach says he wants the fight at 142. So now Arum has nothing to do but face Mayweather!! Arum has been ducking Mayweather like the swing flu, now hes backed in the corner and has to let his prize possesion to go in the ring with Mayweather. He hates it but get over it.

Pac can practically retire now even without fighting Floyd; he has much bigger goals to pursue for his country and people, while Floyd must have had a reason for coming back from retirement, if not money must be for lagacy and it's very obvious he feels he could gain either or both of these through Pac. Floyd wil give-in in the end on Pac's terms for the fight to happen, he simply has no choice.

why do people keep saying this? the dude has just been out of the sport for a year and a half and everyone is all pissed that he didnt wait 24 hours to sign the most challenging fight he will EVER have. pretty sure he WILL have ring rust no matter how good he is. so quit using this.
