I love how Floyd is supposedly scared of all these fighters, but most people end up picking him when one of them is seriously being considered as his next victim.

 

A question to all the Manny Fans who have said Manny would beat Floyd at 135 and up:

If Floyd beats Pac at 147, would you guys still say Pac would beat him at lower classes?

 

Lots of them have said in the past that emmanuel will still be the better fighter to them even after Floyd beats him. What do you think?:think

 

130 - FLOYD (manny is one dimentional in this weight)
135 - FLOYD (manny improved a little but not enough in this weight)
140 - MANNY (IMO manny's optimum weight)
147 - well see about that, HOPE THEY FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

if floyd manage to dominate manny at 147, then id say floyd is definitely better than manny. :good

i miss the old floyd, he used to fight like a mix between ray leonard and roy jones. now he fights like his dad. for that, i favor him at 130 and 135, but not at 140 and 147.

 

lower weights...manny pacquiao...higher weights...manny pacquiao

You gotta love this forum. 1 guy dares to say Manny might win and everybody's like "Urgh, *******s..."
But all the Floyd-wiping-floor-comments, yeah, they are totally objective.

Also, are we talking timeline or are we talking pure weight? So Manny @130 with today's style and Floyd too?

I actually believe that the younger, stick-and-move Floyd would easily beat today's more restrained Manny. Manny is alsways there to hit and Floyd would bounce around the ring all night never allowing Manny to home in. I'd give the wild, unpolished Manny better chances. I mean, he kept coming against Marquez in their first fight although he ate a lot of leather. And I don't know how Floyd would like that constant onslaught, especially considering Floyd never really fought a pressure fighter.

Today's in-the-pocket Floyd would probably beat the young Manny, because he lacked precision and Floyd would counter him all night. But the older Floyd against the improved, more patient (by his standards) Manny ... well, that is the big fight everyone's waiting for and I'd favour Manny. I think the pocket is a stylistic mismatch against high volume punchers. I also think that is exactly the reason Team Mayweather is concerned with Manny being on PEDs. They just know if he does what he did in the Clottey fight he will just win the fight on volume.

 

Remember that Floyd cherry picks his opponents to remain undefeated
but Pacman fights the very best. It has nothing to do with being undefeated or not.

What about fighters in the welter weight division such as: undefeated Cotto, Paul Williams, Margarito, a Younger Shane Mosley, a younger DLH, and Many Pacquiao ? Floyd scared them to death.
