My mind is ****ing blown by this guy's inside knowledge of the boxing game.

 

I think this is a bit far fetched but I wouldn't be completely surprised if there was some shady stuff going on in order to make more money through rematches.

 

For one, the so-called plot that you're describing involves too many people to be kept a secret. It would have been exposed long ago.

 

It seems a stretch but some fights have been fixed before.


Some old classic fights were fixed by the mob,...etc... Not sure if it's doable these days, though.


I would of thought fixing two fights would be more probable than making a trilogy.

I said the very same thing when I watched Johnny Molina always walk in just close enough to smother his power and throw punches that went over Broner head almost exclusively. Molina is usually an animal, case in point Matthysse fight, and many others. He doesn't fight like that. I just had the feeling it looked scripted. (Broner got $1.25 mil, John got $400K) He made some extra cash with the scripted loss.

 

nah, Manny can't be bought. This dude fights for his country, god and his legacy. Mayweather doesn't let anyone tell him what to do and always likes to be the boss so i don't see ANYONE telling him to participate in a staged fight. These two are the least i would expect would participate in something like this, just think about it.

 

a couple of pacs fights seemed staged. with bob arum around and floyds judges protecting him anything can happen
