    It's very easy to see why people dislike. What's not easy to see is why people hate him, then discredit his achievements out of hatred, or get so butt hurt about his personality like it affects them somehow.

    Exactly right. I don't like him as a person at all. Doesn't mean I'm going to try to discredit him as a fighter.

    He's not the type of person I'd surround myself with but I'm still a fan. No entertainer's personality is going to bother me so much that I become completely brainwashed and ignore their achievements and talents.

    Bears a lot of weight coming from someone who has done such a masterful job at keeping his bias from admitting to a fighters deficiencies inside and outside the ring. :good

    If you mean me I'll just say this I'm a boxing fan first & formost.
    I admire every fighter that takes on all comers & always gives 100% in the ring. Of the two I respect Pac more than Floyd for several reasons.
    Floyd was being groomed for the Olympics being mollycoddled while Manny was fighting for his very existence. He was fighting to survive
    Floyds pro career has been very carefully orchestrated & planned carefully with only a couple of hitches.
    Manny came up the hard way It wasn't till the Ledwaba fight that anyone knew who he was. He defied the odds & the boxing pundits by beating Ledwaba.
    Manny has what he's got due to hard work getting in the trenches & FIGHTING!!!
    Comparably Floyd has had an easy ride being born with incredible God Given boxing talents. Sadly I feel Floyd hasn't fully used those talents to his best advantage,
    Had he gone ahead & fought his legitimate contenders instead of picking & choosing who HE wanted to fight. I feel he could well be what he laughingly claims to be today One of THe Best Ever. He may well STILL be unbeaten today & his resume and legacy would be far higher that it is now.
    Contrary to some people's opinion I do not hate him I actually feel sorry for him in a way

    All I want to see on May 2 is a good fight fought on a level playing field with the legitimate best man on the night getting the win Whichever that may be. I hope in my heart Manny wins but whatever the outcome I'll be first to congratulate the legitimate winner
