BOB ARUM - We will only have one press conference some time during the month of January, rather than a multi-city media tour

I think that sucks because the most important part of this is the promotion leading up to the fight and with multi city promotion like from NY,LA,Chicago,Frisco,Miami etc.. will be good like they did Oscar-Floyd, Oscar-Pacquiao and so on, and the excitement we would get from city to city from trash talking on both camps is what the fans want to see to pump them up.

So reducing it to just 1 press conference in NY what do u guys think? I think they are being cheap and rushing it

Honestly with a fight like this they don't have to do **** to advertise. Just them mentioning the fight will happen will be enough to get everyone to watch the fight. Plus really I don't want to hear anymore of the Mayweather's **** about Pac being on steroids.

The more $$$ the fight makes, the more $$$ Bob Arum makes-- if he didn't think 1 press conference was enough, then there would be more press conferences. Since there is only 1 press conference, then one must be enough, because if it wasn't, there would be more.

It's kind of simple when you think **** through huh?

The fight is March 13 which is pretty close. I don't think they even have time to do a multi city press tour.

Maybe Bob Arum is rushing it, and we all know even if they dont do a press conference the fight will sell itself north of 2 mil, now imagine if they do a multi city press tour and have Floyd talking smack and being the bad guy in all the press conferences let's say 4-5 city tour, that will pump it up even more and will probably sell more, u know what i mean? let me give you an example kind of like doing a 9-5 job u get paid the right way but if you do an extra 1-2 hour overtime, u get paid a lil bit more.. now u get the idea:bbb

To be honest, this fight don't need no press conf or 24/7 to sell. You know this fight is an instant mega money maker. Also, I think Arum wants to take the mind games that Mayweather uses with his trash talking out of the equation. Maybe arum feels Mayweather can really get into Pacs head. Pac can't trash talk, it's not him, he's to much of a good sport for that.

I want to see the fight as much as the next, but I want to see them fight each other at 100%. So I'm willing to wait , If needed for them to be 100%. Floyd suffered no punishment in his fight against Marquez, Pac took some hard shots well and didn't look too hurt in his last fight. I don't know the extent of Pacs damage, but I do know he had himself a good scrap to sharpen his skills vs Floyds 12 round sparring session.

Timing is vital in boxing skills, strategy, music, decisions in life, everything. I don't know who the March date will favor. I think Floyd can win by a wide decision at whatever date, based on the stylistic match up. Pacquiao has proven me wrong many times and just might do it again.

I don't think these press conferences even do much in the way of promotion. They seem like a waste of time to me. Fighters themselves even skip these from time to time.

Anyway, who gives a ****? This is going to sell huge no matter what.

these multi city tours are silly and the people see through them as they can now access them online and seeing the same guys playing a role over and over is just foolish and not pacs style

Bob And Pac will, be dictating how this thing goes apparently as Pac is cash cow

"Pockets Pacquaio" we now call him. Arum will talk to Mayweather boss De la Hoya and arange thsi ****, DLH owns Mayweathers ass for years now

Its the fault of *****s Nallege,Rooney, and Pimp C who can't sleep at night without having to call out Pac for ducking Mayweather if he does not sign for March 13. Pacquiao who happens to frequent ESB got pissed and signed up just to please them

24/7 still on? if this is so then the sales will be enormous still.
