I'd actually give the current Floyd a better chance then the earlier one, bc the current one seems be a bit less skittish about being hit ,and he's putting his punches together a bit more with more power. The younger Floyd would only look to potshot, run/cover up, and win a decision which would not be the right strategy to beat Pacquiao.
pacquiao. not only because pacquiao is the bigger fighter of those versions but it his his utmost peak, technically plus physically. also i know ABC doesn't always work but pacquiao had beaten much better opponents in cotto and margarito than corrales and gatti.
he always potshotted dude. all throughout his career. But back then he was a lot faster, and he really didnt like getting hit. Nowdays I think he's growing some balls, and he's standing his ground using his IQ more. He's not as fast as he used to be so he has to be a bit smarter about his work. I liked him in the Ortiz fight.. threw some combinations, showed really good defense, good power, and didnt have to move his feet a lot either.
