    Unlikely.

It'll be in Vegas. Too much money from the site fees paid by casinos.

    not just that...

a promoter has to pay a stadium to host his show, he also has to give some of the money from the gate to the stadium.

the casino's bid to have fights at their venue so they can attract more people to come and gamble

that way the promoter gets a fee from the casino PLUS gets to keep all the gate money and no fee is needed to be paid to anyone.

True, but how many would come even if the fight was at a late time over there?

I'm sure there would be a lot of money involved bringing it to Wembley though. I mean think when we had the NFL game over here New York Giants v Miami Dolphins, why would they bother coming over for one game? Money of course.

Now if that's just for one NFL game in a sport that isn't particularly popular and thousand's turned out and they payed that much money to have one standard game over here, think how much they would be willing to offer to have one of the biggest and potentially best selling fights of all-time?

If it was in London--why not start(the big fight) at midnight?

Isnt that 7 eastern time US?? That seems good to me...

This may very well be the biggest fight ever. Why not switch it up a bit and fill this huge stadium. Same old MGM or whatever zzzzzzzzzz. The british pound as well as the capacity should be able to bring the money in. Damn casinos

Hmmm...the big fights here are always contracted to happen about 11 pm so maybe there could be a middle ground there.....:think

Tommy has a point, that first NFL game alone at Wembley has over 1 million UK NFL fans after 80,000 tickets.

On top of it, it gets people play at that casino before and afterward, even more money the casino would make.

it can sell out but stadium tickets are cheaper, and a portion of the gate money will have to be paid to the stadium as well as a fee to host the event.

    promoters lose too much money.

from a simple fan's point of view who isn't the richest guy in the world. I'd RATHER it be in Wembley. At least I'd have a chance at getting a ticket compared to getting a ticket at Mandalay or MGM where they jack up the price for the cheap seats.

You guys are diehards and I know the filipinos will travel far to follow their hero. Not much can be said about Floyd's fans. I doubt he even has a broad traveling fanbase.

Pacquiao would not have thay many fans travel but there are already Filipinos in the UK who would be there without a doubt.

Floyd won't need anyone to even travel. Do you not get that the U.K. fans would be the ones filling the stadium?
