Firstly, if Floyd tried this it should be after he's finished at WW.

How will Pavlik land anything clean, and how will Floyd handle the extra weight? Weighing in over 154, I dunno if he'd be too slowed down. I guess he could put a bunch of change in his pockets like they say Pacman did when he was 16!

Pavlik would hit a lot of air for awhile, but if he use his weight on Floyd, like in clinches, Floyd would probably get tired and wear down, unless he could somehow handle putting more on his frame.

i compared the situation when pac was moving 2 weight-class up to fight oscar. here, floyd would be moving 2 weight-class to fight pavlik at 160. oscar being drained should not take away from the fact that pac performed brilliant. floyd has the capacity to do this but the question is, would he take the risk?

Pavlik would have to hit him first.

It would be a snooze fest with Pavlik trying to follow Floyd around the ring and being kept off ballance all night. Floyd wins a UD in a Spinks Taylor looking fight.

He harldy hit a 181 pound Bernard, so it's possible.

Why not just fight Valuev, more likely to evade Valuev than Pavlik.

I think Floyd with his skill level and speed would have a very good chance....Kelly isnt exactly a speed demon

Or David Hayes. Or BHop. Or Klitschko. He would UD all of them since they would have to be able to hit Floyd first. :yep

Forget about Vitali and bring on Wlad. I doubt that even with both Klitschko brothers in the ring, they could land a solid punch on Floyd.

If little Corey Spinks with a style somewhat similar to Mayweathers could come up and IMO outbox an undefeated Taylor, who i think is a better boxer than Pavlik. i could conceivably see Mayweather coming in outboxing Pavlik over 12 rds provided he doesn't get caught.

Other than Hatton and JMM, who has he fought that was smaller? You must not be familiar with his career.

It's not really the fact that he's beaten up on smaller guys, it's the idea that after demolishing JMM, he's suddenly invincible and untouchable in the ring.

He could beat MWs, cruisers, heavies, provided "he doesn't get caught".

Sorry pal, but your comparisons make no sense at all. Pavlik not only knocked out an undefeated Taylor, he also outboxed Taylor in the rematch. Hopkins could not win a UD over Taylor in two fights, and Winky failed as well. Pavlik succeeded where an all time great, and a sure fire hall of famer, failed.

Pavlik would assassinate floyd inside 4 rounds. There is absolutley nothing floyd could do to keep Pavlik off of him. He cannot get KP's respect, and if you can't get Kelly's respect, you're ****ed.
