Floyd's a natural welterweight, Pavlik is a big middleweight who could easily move up and stay effective. This is just a ridiculous match-up. The size difference is too great, the power difference is too great. Floyd wouldn't be able to get Pavlik's respect and Pavlik would just walk him down. Even if Floyd didn't get KO'd he'd lose a wide decision because if he took one risk he'd likely get fist-****ed, so he'd spend the whole fight purley on defense.
Pavlik KO Too big, too strong, too powerful. He'd impose himself behind his long jab, keep Mayweather entirely on the defensive. The jab of Pavlik would offset him. Mayweather would have to weigh in at 155 or more to deal with the strength of Pavlik, but he wouldn't have the necessary movement to box circles around him. Pavlik pins him against the ropes and finishes him off. This would be a MASSIVE money maker though.
