mayweather vs pavlik?

    after his recent comments, why not money may, put his hands up and fight pavlik at 160? if your the best, you fight the best. if you talk ****, back it up. Pavlik will crush his skull. no question.

    Actually that's what he would need to do if we would ever want to copy guys like Roy Jones, from 160 to heavyweight, and Pacquiao from 106 to most likely 140 against Hatton !

    2 dumbass morons on the same thread. Pavlik could fight at 168 no problem. Going from 130 to 160 with Floyds little frame? Are you kidding. Pavlik is class at Middle, Floyd could probably take a belt from one of the other alphabet title holders, but Pavlik would be to strong and disciplined.

    read my last post. 13 lbs. if you want to call yourself the best of all time, u have to have challenges. whats mayweather legacy? a slipt decision against de la hoya? knocking out hatton? or wait, hatton stepped up in weight, right? or his his legacy pop shotting baldomir? or beating a 6 round fighter zab judah?

    floyd could fight at middleweight, no problem. it is 13 lbs, not 40 lbs.

    i dont agree totally.

    oscar at light middle was a solid achievement but if you think that floyd going to middle is " no problem" then you're being very naaive.

    I think this would be a HUGE fight, it would be very reminiscent of Hagler/Leonard.

    We've been through this before and Pavlik will murder Mayweather.. You can run and play defensive all you want, but there's no way he'd block Pavlik's punches.. Once his little ass would get caught on the ropes, it'd be all over with.. Mayweather won't even take on the best at 147, so what makes you think he'd even dream of a fight with Pavlik?

    i dont understand how you can say that...

    middle is just too far for floyd and i can't see how aanyone can justify that.

    let me rephrase that - someone who's boxed and jumped weights. it's a big thing and i don't think some of you rralise how much affect that has simply because floyd makes it look easy....

    there's a reason for that but there's also a limit.

    and he won't fight at middle. i guarantee it.

    so, i guess we love paying 49.95 watching him fight baldmoirs and judahs?? mayweather vs pavlik, IF it ever happened, would be huge. if mayweather beat him, that would be an awesome accomplishment.

    Obviously this would never happen, the man won't even fight Cotto. Floyd never really even made 154, how on earth is he going to get to 160? Kelly would kill him, Floyd is extremely talented but all his cute little moves mean nothing to Pavlik.
