    Who wins this?

Mayweather obviously has the far greater career achievements but does Pryor have the style to beat Mayweather at 140 ?

I'd pick Floyd by decision. He'd IMO pick Pryor apart. Pryor was far too wild to beat a sturdy sharpshooter with a significant speed advantage

Mayweather was a huge Pryor fan funnily enough. But I reckon he would dissect The Hawk. Pryor was just too porous defensively and doesn't have the requisite skills needed to compete with Mayweather imo. I think Mayweather would outpoint Pryor with his better boxing skill and faster feet.

Mayweather, journeyman in fantasy matchups, undefeated in reality, Mayweather times Pryor’s attacks with jabs and straight punches down the middle as he opens up and that’ll offset Pryor all night, he doesn’t have anything else to beat Mayweather with, he couldn’t out jab him.

I could see Pryor outworking Floyd, but I think Floyd was smart and skilled enough to time Pryor (who could be pretty open down the middle) and tie him up well enough to lower his crazy workrate.

it wouldn’t be easy but I lean towards Mayweather winning a decision.

People have a hard time deciding whether Mayweather would win or lose against Durán. That should tell you he’s on a different level to a Pryor, or Chávez even.

These posts about FM picking Pryor apart Crack me up. Mayweather who liked to fight at his pace is just going to have the time to stand there and pick him apart like nothing is coming his way. No I don't think so. Mayweather liked his time and space or he resorted to grabbing and holding to slow things to his comfort level. If he felt pressure from Maidana that through him off imagine what Pryor does to him. I know I can see it. Pryor applies too much unorthodox pressure and throws too many shots from all angles for Mayweather to ever get comfortable let alon comfortable enough to take command of this fight.
    Pryor UD possible late stoppage.

Pryor via UD. I think he outworks & outhustles Floyd in most of the exchanges - forcing him to fight at a much faster pace than he's used to. Floyd wouldn't have the punching power or consistent offence to keep Pryor off him enough. The only problem I have with Pryor is his recklessness.

He would lunge in regularly - leaving himself open, and a sharp counterpuncher like Floyd could exploit that regularly. He would need to fight with an educated offensive gameplan which - Pryor was very capable of as he had VASTLY underrated boxing skills.

Exactly. Also, they're underrating Pryor's boxing skills, footwork & defense. He could be elusive & hard to hit when he wanted to be.

I wouldn't say his defence was porous. Leaky, but not porous. He had more than enough skill (& the effective style) to beat Mayweather.

It’s getting close, which surprises me. I don’t see Pryor as any serious trouble for Mayweather, personally. Difficult for a few rounds sure, but seriously a chance to win? I can’t imagine it personally.
