Mayweather vs Rigondeaux TEchnicall analysis

I agree with the position that Mayweather is a more versatile technical fighter. I have yet to see Rigo display any great inside game. He doesn't really need it with his outside game thus far, but there may come a day where he'll have to show what he's got in that regard. However, Rigo does not bring any entertainment value to the table in his wins, he takes even fewer chances in the ring than Floyd. I will say to Rigo's credit though, that while he has not fought great competition overall, he has faced and soundly beaten the one fighter in Donaire that was regarded as in his class around the weight, which is not something you can say for Floyd.

 

Mayweather has achieved more but both have a similar skill level.

Rigondeaux is technically better and has demonstrated a higher level of skill through his career as well. Threads like this seem to appear every week and I find it hard to explain it all over again each time. But to sum it, Rigondeaux is the most skilled boxer in the world.

Rigo is very talented top 3 most talented in boxing behind only PBF and Ward IMO. He has better footwork but he's not better than PBF who is more complete. Rigo can't fight on the inside. PBF can fight on the inside he can fight at all ranges and has better defense than Rigo he also transitions between offense to defense and vice versa better than Rigo does.

People who are saying Rigo has more power, lets see him move up another 3 or divisions and see how well his power is.
