All arguments on this are ****. No one can prove who is faster without some kind of hard scientific data.

No, he would not be, unless you were just emphasizing the "much" in his post. Roy was faster period than Floyd. Not just P4P, but comparing the two, Roy at 160-168, to Floyd even at 130, Roy was faster.

What I am saying is that in the specified group in which Roy is invloved 160+ he is the fastest fighter ever.

Floyd is nowhere near the fastest fighter ever in his particular weight class's.

So it would have to follow that if Floyd is faster than Roy p4p, then the fast fighters below 160 are faster than the fast fighters above 160 p4p and that is not the case.

Also I would wager that Floyd at 154 was slower than Roy when he was at 154.

Yup - plus those punches came from both hands, at every angle. He had the most amazing combination of speed and power that I've seen.

Even against Toney's defense, he was able to leap in and land left-hook leads to the head, and get back out before being touched.

That RJJ was the best boxer I've seen. Can't imagine anyone beating him at that weight. Noone else that I can think of is this dominate H2H at a particular weight than RJJ was.

    Indeed.
I just could not be botherd geting invloved in an argument with BigReg about adjectives. He seems to be a bit bitchy and I cannot be ****ed dealing with it.

And to see RJJ at his speediest, here's just a bit of the Vinny Paz fight, the rest is on Youtube.

Roy Jones made WORLD CLASS fighters look like amatuers. Floyd Mayweather beats world class fighters, and fair play, but he never did anything like what Roy Jones did to Clinton Woods, Vinny Paz, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, Virgil Hill and so on. Floyd Mayweather is awesome, but he doesn't beat people with the same contemptuous ease. I mean Floyd lost at least 3 rounds against Hatton, who isn't a skillful boxer, would Roy Jones have ever lost a round to a guy like that? Roy Jones Jnr knocked people out with his hands BEHIND HIS ****ING BACK.

Infact the only other guy I can think of who utterly humiliate top fighters in the same way was Naseem Hamed.

Yep, the "much" was a problem. Never the less, even with all the steroids he pumped himself with, 160-168 Roy was not faster than 130 Floyd.

 He was a much better overall athlete, if you don't want to concede that he was faster.
