That's what I was thinking of as well. Floyd would out of his best weight while Ray would be comfortable in his best weight.

Ray is superior to Floyd in just about every aspect, and we haven't even seen him in his prime. All we've seen of him are his fights at middleweight, where he's blowing guys out of the ring with his punches. Robinson is too big for Floyd , and if he was around today he'd be a monster.

As said in the video, Robinson started his career as a lightweight. Floyd spent maybe 5 years at superfeatherweight. His career is 15 years long. And even then, compare him against Armstrong and Floyd still has a deep challenge in front of him.

Ray Robinson is a better boxer than Floyd Mayweather. I don't think thre is going to be too much argument over that. As far as a fight goes. I'd pick Robinson. However this is a winable bout for Mayweather. Robinson has the size advantage and if he stays on the outside he should win convincaly. He can be lured in to giving up his size and going toe to toe. He's still very very good on the inside, but he's not as good as he is on the out side and can be hit. Mayweather has to get him into this kind of fight.

I work out to the St. Valentines Day massacre. Keep in mind that Lamotta was a light heavyweight fighting at middleweight. I still dont know how Lamotta stood up to that assault.

SRR is just too strong combined with his quickness. Love Floyd, but his chances are slim unless he just shells up to survive.Robinson's punches were a bit wide and the reach of both fighters is nearly identical. Floyd is an ATG counter puncher so he has a shot...a very small one.
