Mayweather hits hard enough to get his oppoents reapect. He dose not have to knock Robinson out to win.

Which prime natural welter has Floyd pushed backwards with any of his punches to earn their respect.

That is very true and he gave up a big weight advantage to Jake in his first loss. But come on. Don't expect Floyd to do that against the GOAT. Why is it that Floyd has to give up the advantage against the best fighter ever

Ha ha , nice one ball,

Floyd has done this to two out of his last three fights , but when it comes to him going up its different?

Floyd can barely survive a fight with SRR as it is. Why would you even want him to fight him moving up in weight.
It's the same issue I have with Pac/Marquez III. Pacquiao can already thrash him on an even playing field. Why does he need to put him at more of a disadvantage

Because that is why some fighters like Floyd will not be remembered for the right reasons.

Look at Ray Leonard moving up to face Hagler , or infact Duran moving up to face Leonard.

Great fighters sometimes take great risks.

Well you act like Floyd hasn't done it before. He moved up against De La Hoya and gave him every contractual advantage and a big weight advantage. Instead of asking for a catchweight, he just fought him at the regular weight and came in underweight and still fight him.
First fight at 135, was against the champion. He's fought in 5 different weight classes, so he's going out of his way.

Both Floyd and Oscar started at the same weight in the pro's , Oscar was also the biggest fight in Floyds career so was hardly going to let Floyd have any advantages in the contract.

The 5 weight classes is mute , Floyd only moves up when the coast is clear of any real danger.

Yeah fighting Jose Luis Castillo, possibly the best lightweight of his era, really showed that Floyd had a knack for avoiding danger.
