Mayweather might outbox him if i'm giving my honest opinion. It's not fair anyway, there's a four pound advantage at least, haha
Well we're being very unfair on Sanchez here, putting it in the contract that he has to carry an extra four pounds, this could hinder his performance in immense proportions. Mayweather to win but he deserves absolutely no credit because of the despicable circumstances the bout was boxed in. Nar just kidding, yeah i'd take Mayweather to beat him to be honest, i reckon he'd be given trouble early getting hit with the jab which is followed up with flurries from Sanchez, but i reckon he is good enough and has enough skills to hold his own and then adjust to edge the fight on points.
I've seem Sanchez look exactly the same weighing 129, low standard of opponent though. Sanchez has the accuracy and mix in attackto break Floyds rhythm, and the chin to take whatever the 130 Floyd has to offer, as this was before Floyd started throwing 5 punches a round. Sanchez via decision, Floyd getting on his bike will make it harder for Sanchez, but the Mexican is stronger, Hell he's plain better. Ludicrous matchup-Floyd would never take a fight with such a dangerous opponent.
We have arrived at climax point travelling our inevitable collision course. Haha, kidding, we saw this one a bit ****in different though!
I just don't see Floyds shoulder roll doing much to take the edge off of Sanchez's assaults, nor will he have the size (Marquez) or superior intelligence (Corrales) to befuddle Sal with movement for the 12 (or 15) I think Floyd is grossly overrated, when you see who he has actually fought. He has some fantastic attributes, but I'm not certain he could seamlessly apply them againast a fighter like Sanchez.
The unprovenness (unproven-ness) is always going to be a factor with Floyd in hypothetical match ups against this level of fighter, for sure. I personally do think he is a bona fide great fighter to be honest. Someone with a real in and out fast hands type style would be my best bet against him. Whittaker for sure, and Duran would just bring too much dynamism for him. The way i see it as like i said, Sanchez with his jab, great generalship and punches in bunches would see the majority of the early rounds, but i do rate Mayweathers adaptability and various ways of fighting, i think it's underrated to be honest. I'd think he could adapt and his own positioning is quality, even mid ring. He's totally shot himself in the foot though the way he's been fighting in a lot of fights, he's just asking for us to pick guys like Sanchez over him. That's why i can't really argue with your pick.
I can't argue with your reasoning either to be fair. Until Floyd 'mans up' so to speak there will always be these two schools of thought.
Mayweather too quick and slick for Sanchez.Ruben Castillo's movemment troubled Sanchez and only a Sanchez late rally kept him from losing.Mayweather is alot quicker then Castillo and has alot more of an offensive as well.
