what? pac or margo is the easist fight for floyd.
martinez hits like a middle weight.
but why fight pac? he fought a b class fighter wen the champ(mosley) was on his knees for a fight. why fight margo? he beat the man that destroyed him.bradley? lol
williams is a tough challenge he dosent have power to stop floyd. mayb win on points?

Sergio has terrible feet. He's quick and athletic but his footwork is terrible and he's off balance so much he suffers knock downs easily. I don't see why Floyd wouldn't fight him at 160. He's no risk and the heavier Sergio is the slower he'll be making him even less of a threat. Floyd could come in at 154 and if Sergio were smart he'd come in for a 160 fight vs Floyd at no more than 155 since he isn't the type of fighter to use his size to advantage anyways.

If Sergio is still 160 lineal champ then this fight will get a lot of PPV buys and with no risk to Floyd's zero there's no wonder he's already talking about it.

I agree Sergio is a beast and thought he beat Paul Williams and might beat him if they fight again. I just see him having a terrible style match up against Floyd who is almost as athletic AND has actual boxing technique. Sergio is not a hard puncher and thus doesn't even have a puncher's chance vs Floyd. I think Manny and P-Will provide the worst match ups for Floyd and are so dangerous he really doesn't want a piece of either guy unless he's just desperate for the paycheck.

Pavlik outjabbed Martinez. Martinez is not that good. He has little to no defense. He's just got very good stamina and is somewhat fast but in my opinion he's not good enough to beat the Shane Mosley we saw getting dominated tonight so why bother?

DLH beat Floyd in many peoples books. The fact is DLH didn't get the win and neither did Martinez. So stop giving Martinez credit for wins he doesn't have.

Williams won the actual fight, he should get the credit.

I think it's an easy low risk fight for Mayweather but I don't think it would get a lot of PPV buys. Martinez hasn't really proven himself to be among the elite. Beating Pavlik isn't good enough. Martinez is good but there is nothing about him that makes him any more of a draw than Berto or Bradley.

People buy FMJ PPVs to see if somebody can beat him. They pay in hopes of seeing him get beat. If he fights what most people consider to be a bum, or a guy who clearly has no chance of beating him, who is going to pay $50? Are you? Are any of you seriously going to pay $50 to watch him massacre Martinez? It's going to be a very boring one sided boxing clinic that Floyd easily wins.

If this is a tune up fight for a Williams or Cotto fight then I'd think it's a good fight. But lets not pretend like Martinez is any more of a threat than Marquez.

this is my prediction. people put up martinez earlier this week as a possible opponent because they just wanted to hear that floyd would be too scared to accept such a fight, but now floyd might accept the fight, it's because floyd's ducking someone else. some of you on here make me laugh. your hate makes you look thick as ****.

Martinez fights like Margarito. And like Margarito he got beat by Paul Williams. Martinez isn't special or elite, he's just better than Pavlik. Being better than Pavlik isn't really saying much because Pavlik isn't a boxer, hes a fighter.

How does Martinez win his fights? His stamina and throwing 100 punches a round. What did Shane Mosley do to the last fighter who tried that? He knocked him out. So why would anyone think Martinez or any fighter of this style could beat Shane Mosley?
