Sorry if this has been done before, but as i`m a fan off both would jst like to get ppls opinion!

i see this as an offensive vs defensive fight!

personally i think SRL would edge it on the basic fact he could mix it up more; fight toe to toe if he thought PBF could not handle it etc!
And as solid as PBF chin is, SRL has a far better chin!
    Speed is basically the same!
SRL has massive heart and determination, while we have never really seen PBF in a dig deep situation!

so im goin for UD Leonard..... maybe even a late KO/TKO

I tend to agree. I think it if boiled down to a technical boxing match Leonard would get the better of him as well, and by a clear margin. In fact, I'd be inclined to go with a late stoppage on the part of Leonard. Just a class above Floyd at 147.

Ray Leonard of '81 was too good and strong for Floyd Mayweather of 2006 at 147........ Mayweather punches like a *****, while Leonard punched and fought like a man...... Nuff said....... Raymond Leonard all the way......

leonard all day. not to take away from floyd but if he wants to be mentioned in the same breath as duran, leonard, or hearns, he's got to take on the bigger cats in their prime just like they did. not that he can't, but will he is the question. he's still an atg, but if he was to beat margo or pw, who are bonafide welters, just like leonard did with tommy, then i'll have him up there with the durans and sugars.

    Close fight.

The only guy that Leonard fought that had the same mindset as Mayweather was Benitez, and Benitez isn't a Mayweather IMO. Mayweather has more to his game than Benitez.

The Benitez-Leonard fight was fairly close and competitive so I would imagine a Mayweather-Leonard clash would be similarly so.

One would have to think SRL would be too big and aggressive to be too thrown off by Mayweather's awkwardness so I would go for SRL UD.

Interesting fight. I would envision Mayweather beating leonard up but leonard winning a lot of close rounds with his flashy style...thus a DRAW

yea like he did with hatton, but i didnt like that it was at 147 cuz hatton sucks at 147, but hatton still gave him a good fight. not that i wanna see floyd lose, i don't care about his personal life or personality, but just wanna see him backup his words of being better than robinson, which is blasphemy. i don't even have him up there with armstrong or whitaker yet. i've been of fan of his since he beat justin juuko, but if the man talks he needs to back up his words

I see no way that Floyd could pull this off.
