I just dont see it , a prime Tito would run Floyd out of the ring.

Please I love Corrales , but more for heart than talent, dont compare him to Tito.

The jab that was almost knocking Vargas out would have Floyd on constant retreat.

Two of my favourite fighters. I really couldn't pick between the two.

Tito will need to hold and sneak some shots into floyd which is not his style. if he doesn't hold, i just don't see tito touching floyd who is more agile than bhop and faster on his feet. Tito couldn't land anything on bhop. he was constantly off balance by bhop's movement and not set to punch. Tito have a puncher's luck in a tiny ring that Oscar requested against floyd.

This is the worst thread I've seen yet...curse you for making me analyze one of the worst possible matchups for one of my favorite childhood fighters!

I would like to think Tito's conditioning and relentlessness would wear Floyd down. Tito would relish those opportunities where Floyd lays on the ropes and shoulder rolls for a few seconds, and even if they were taken on the arms, they'd take their toll. Tito would be effective at hurting and slowing him down enough to do some damage. If he can slow him down enough early on, there's a chance Tito gets the knockout late in the fight. But, sadly I don't think Floyd would put himself in that position.

However, I think Floyd's power is underrated. There is a reason Oscar and Shane stopped coming...his speed and his right hand have a lot more pop than people think. I wouldn't put it past him to drop Tito with one of those flash knockdowns Trinidad was susceptible.

If Floyd gets one of those flash knockdown's in middle rounds, he moves the rest of the fight and wins a boring UD. This is the most likely scenario...and it ruins my day making this call.

i give every puncher a punchers chance. The thing is that Floyd has fought plenty of quick and heavy handed fighters that could put him out if they are able to land. But they need to land.

You say that yet he specifically went up to WW to fight Hoya and Mosley at WW in 06. Mayweather was looking to get paid at that time. He would have chased the money and fought Hoya and/or Tito for that pay check. He wouldn't be looking to fight everyone as his body was breaking down. But he would have made sure to go for that 15-20mil pay day or 2.

Trinidad was pretty slow moving forward but he could crack at decent speed. I thing Mayweather outboxes him easily the way DLH does but over 12 rounds but one thing that hasn't been said, Trinidad was a harder puncher at 147 than Mosley was and if Trinidad hits Floyd the way Shane did, Floyd may not need to recover because he ain't getting up.

He has not fought anyone that I believe cracks as hard as Trinidad did, Judah, Mosley, and Corrales included. Maybe you can say DLH hits as hard but the same older DLH couldn't even knockdown Forbes so that's and indicator right there. But I do see Trinidad being slow like Corales but not too drained and all he needs is a good shot.

also tito lives and die by his left hook. he got a decent jab and big left hook but u need more than 2 main punches to get floyd. Floyd beats Tito in all areas except power but Floyd hits hard enough to control them. Tito doesn't have the greatest chin so i give them even on that since he is bigger than floyd.

There's no way Mayweather beats any top welterweight never mind Tito:bbb

Oscar/Quartey/Mosley/Pea from 10+ years ago would have would have seen Mayweather of with ease. Mayweather would never have taken them on anyway & who the **** has he fought at WW??? but we all know who he has'nt!!!!

    Tito by KO big time:deal

His chin isn't iron but I believe its better than Floyd's. I don't think Floyd's chin would hold up to flush shots by Vargas maybe Winky and if Hopkins hits Floyd the same way he hit Trinidad, its nighty night time.

I sure as hell would like to know why Floyd can't outbox Tito if Oscar did. So_Oscar can move around the ring and box Tito's ears off but for some magical reason Floyd would get KOed. Floyd by UD.

Floyd fought off the ropes against smaller dudes... he ain't going to be there for tito. Tito lives and dies by one main punch and that is the left hook. Floyd would be smart enough to sidestep and off set tito's best punch imo.

People might call me a ***** but i just think Floyd is the boxing master. I think Pac's style with speed and power + workrate have the best chance. You take away 1 of the 3 needed to beat floyd then ur chance is a whole lot less. Tito have power, no speed, and selective work rate. Tito only throws when he is sure and he won't have a mark to pull the trigger.

i know right.... the obvious pick would be floyd ud bc he have proven that he can beat guys with enough power to ko him. Tito has not proven that he can hang with slick good defense dudes.

He beat Whitaker. Even though Whitaker was old and coked out, he just came off the performance against DLH, where many thought he won and Trinidad convincingly beat him putting the nail in the coffin of his career.
