Mayweather's far too precise, defensively responsible, and quick for Valero to get anything of note done without taking head-snapping counterpunches in return. I see Mayweather dominating prior to a corner or a referee stoppage.

i guarantee Valero would get knocked down if not KOed by a lightweight Floyd. he had solid power at that weight and was in his prime

He looked powder puff vs Castillo and Sosa, he stopped Ndou but he was coming up from super feather.

I expect a fight with Valero to look closer to Floyds fights with Castillo or Sosa than it did Ndou.

    Floyd on pts, no knockdowns.

the promotion for this can be called "jailbirds". but floyd wins this and possibly by ko/tko. floyd was a very decent puncher in the lower weights.

Valero was special, but I think Floyd, much as I hate to say it, is maybe the best there's ever been at LW h2h.

Keep in mind that Floyd had zero problems with Castillo in the rematch, and Castillo was pretty goddam special himself at the weight.

i think duran would give him nightmares at lw and at lw mosley was also a force of nature. i don't think shane would beat floyd but it's a pretty even fight.

Floyd would have to ko Valero, and I think he would too. Floyd ko in 9!

Far from an "easy" win...only a ****** would think otherwise^^^ Valero is a challenge for just about anyone @ 130. Valero/Marquez would have been GREAT.

Duran never fought anyone even REMOTELY close to Floyd's level as a LW. JCC would smash up Duran and so would Pacquiao and half a dozen other guys. Floyd would make it look easy.

That doesn't change the fact that Floyd is running scared from Pacquiao.
