    Mayweather.
(Williams can't make 147lbs & be sharp as 154lbs & above **** what they say...)

+ Jr. would want it @ 140lbs, Let's see bean pole try @ make that!

Can we all agree that we are not talking about the same Paul Williams? He is nowhere near the same fighter in attiutde, preparation, and skill.

    Just sayin...

Floyd can make William's tempo drop by using footwork and distance. If that works then he will walk him into counters all night and i would say clinch him but I don't know if he would be strong enough to tie William's up. That's why I think Mosley has a better shot against Williams than Floyd but imo both can beat him.

Mosley vs Williams is a fight I really wanna see

Mayweather would kill cotto and PAC......He'd lose against Mosley......I think he'd lose against Williams too cause he's like 8 feet

Floyd cannot hurt Williams.. Chin is too good.

This fight would end up being the black version of Margarito-Cotto

Floyd may get the better shots in the beginning, but Paul would continue to pressure him. Eventually the workrate would begin to take effect. In the latter rounds, when Floyd likes to do that shoulder-roll, rope-a-dope nonsense, Paul will still be throwing 100 punches. A southpaw with an 82" reach ain't worried bout no shoulder-roll. Eventually Floyd would take too many shots. Williams TKO11

This fight will never happen. Way to risky for Mayweather.

Well I disagree but I do think out of everyone at Welter or there abouts, Williams is the one who has the best shot at beating Mayweather. A better chance than Pacquiao, Mosley or Cotto!

Williams is clearly an avopided fighter & that's the reason he's not a major, major star! Williams had said he will box anyone so its down to his peers. Mosley has been honest enough that fighting Williams is not an opportunity he would relish but if the money was right he would think hard about taking the bout!

Williams is getting better, while guys like Mosley & perhaps even Floyd are more near the side of going downwards rather than improving!

If Mayweather wins the first 7 rounds against Williams. He might aswell pack it in. There is no way Mayweather knowing he is ahead on points would ever let Williams catch him. Cotto does not have near the D that Floyd does.

As for Williams improvement. He still fights on the inside too much and doesnt use his reach to his advantage. We will see if he steps up his level pf opp if he truly has corrected his flaws.
