Mayweather wants to fight in UK (Vs Khan?)

    Just saw an update on the BBC feed,



    Floyd Mayweather will definitely be fighting in the UK in the future, according to his adviser.
    Leonard Ellerbe told BBC Sport: "Floyd cannot wait until we can come over there and give the UK fans a big, big fight.
    "Floyd has a tremendous fan base in the UK and we're looking at working on something now where he's going to come over there.
    "We're definitely going to bring a big, big event to the UK."

    Please don't let it be against Khan. That fight is a really tough sell right about now.

    Who else would be worth traveling for? Saying that he could fight Mr Bean, itd still be huge.

    As if some people actually believe this.

    He's saying this so people over here will believe he actually gives A flying **** about our support.

    Just basically trying to keep us interested in his career, so a few more quid comes his way.

    If you honestly think Mayweather will ever fight in the UK, Go and bang your head against a brick wall.....right now.

    Conveniently timed statement the week before his fight. He's never coming here for 2 reasons...

    The casinos in Vegas would offer too much to keep him there.
    The hand injections he has cause problems with medical restrictions outside Nevada.

    Exactly this. They've just agreed a deal to show the fight with Boxnation so send a member of the team to talk to boxnation. Mayweather himself couldn't be arsed to talk to them so this chump just says what he thinks we all want to here. Will never happen in a million years. Vegas wouldn't allow it. Too much $ to lose. Casinos make a mint everytime flloyd fights and that ensures he will never fight anywhere else. Wasn't it just last week Khan said this was his last fight in the UK too. Funny how that's slipped under the radar
