It reminds me of when Sugar Shane Mosley said the same thing after beating Fernando Vargas for the 2nd time. He said he wanted to take time out with his family, besides the stupid tooth excuse.

So many Floyd fans kept bringing that up when people were asking for a Mosley-Mayweather bout right after the Margarito TKO. Floyd fans kept repeating Mosley ducked Mayweather and already had his chance but refused...

This situation is no different now. Pacquiao tried to make that fight only to be brushed off for no valid reason. He shouldn't ever be forced again to make that fight if we go by the same logic used for the Mosley-Mayweather situation...

Dan Rafael said Ellerbe uncharacteristically doesn't answer all his calls, emails, texts etc. etc. He must be in 7th heaven with Floyd and the kids right now.

its another double standard. Mosley said he would fight Mayweather in early 2007 instead of November 2006, Floyd wanted to fight in november 2006 (he ended up fighting Baldomir) and therefore everyone says Mosley ducked Floyd.

Now the tables are reverse with Pacquiao at the other end but even worse Floyd is not saying that he wants to fight Pacquiao at the turn of the year. He is just saying he's not interested now..

Cite your source please. This is second time I've heard/read that. Yet, I've not seen an article or interview, confirming this.

    Thanks.

Is this what you want to know ? Peterson claim.. ?
    http://www.boxingbulletin.net/2010/02/18/floyd-trying-to-talk-his-way-to-victory-over-pacquiao/

" Mayweather wants you to believe Pacquiao is the one who pulled out of the fight in January because he wouldn’t agree to all of Floyd’s – NOT the Nevada State Commission’s – but Floyd’s personal demands for excessive random blood testing. But the little-known truth is, Mayweather advisor Al Haymon’s associate George Peterson told me the decision to cancel the Pacquiao-Floyd was made as far back as early December – obviously, because Team Mayweather concluded a boxing match against Manny Pacquiao was a “no win situation.” Yes, a severely brutal knockout loss at the fists of a smiling Asian man is a no-win situation indeed for an arrogant pretender like Mayweather. Oh...thought it was something current and relevant. I've seen that before. I don't buy that. No other source has corroborated that story.

    Thanks.

I believe the actual Peterson comment was also posted on the Scene in early December. Do you expect anyone from the Mayweather side to say that's true ? Do you think Floyd would say that openly ? Not a chance...

There's no other recent comments about that. Peterson was probably told to shut the **** up from that point on !!
