    There is absolutely without a doubt mayweather was dominating the fight. I'm making this thread specifically for people saying Ortiz was getting stronger and Mayweather was having problems.I really can't seem to grasp the fact that people are saying Ortiz was winning the fight. There literally was 2 good moments that Ortiz hit mayweather and it wasn't even that good. Honestly when I saw the fight live I missed a lot of punches. When I saw the rematch 2 more times, I saw a domination. And you could tell Mayweather was getting stronger and stronger. You could even tell by the fact he threw a pretty long combination when he never throws combinations. Late round TKO imo. Ortiz had no chance...

    Or Ortiz would've quit. Floyd was easily landing right hands, lead right hands. Ortiz was able to land a few punches and a pretty good right counter, but was out of his depth for the most part. With his questionable mindset, I'll be surprised if Ortiz bounces back to beat Berto again. People forget Berto almost had him out in the 6th before being caught and hurt himself going for kill which effectively ended his fight.

    Floyd was getting an almost 50% connect rate,round 3 had Ortiz with something like 5-6 shots landed and when he did have Floyd on the ropes Floyd came right back out avoiding any damage..

    The headbutt was an outburst of frustration,he was breaking him down mentally and the panel admitted Ortiz would have to throw more to be effective.

    Ortiz was starting to swell,and Floyd was picking up the activity while Ortiz landed here and there.. In the 4th Floyd opened up and had Ortiz stutter stepping with the 5-6 punch flurry he threw at him and had Ortiz clenching before he shook it off.

    At the end of the day the plan was to pick it up,Roger alludes to that when he says "we really gonna tap that ass later in the fight" lol.. Even though Floyd was opening up,this version was the most aggressive Floyd which makes him more dangerous to other fighters.

    I would say Ortiz is going to give him a hell of a fight if they continue, but PBF will score points as he does all the time :smoke

    Or Floyd figured he had a massive points lead around R8 and would hold back like he did many times...
    A disqualification win was quite possible too :deal

    He probably would have won by TKO/Quitting, but he opted for the sucker punch instead.

    I think Ortiz would have gotten DQ'ed within a round or 2, he'd mentally lost it with those fouls. If he didn't quit of foul out he'd be ko'd within 8rounds, he'd already started to take a beating

    Personally I think Floyd would have won by a UD like always.

    I don't think Floyd is gonna score anymore legitimate knockouts or TKO for the rest of his career

    I tend to agree with this. The headbutt was the ultimate sign of frustration.

    Interestingly enough, Roy Jones Junior had this to say on this very subject:

    "So Floyd was standing in there, and when the guy cheap shotted Floyd, Floyd said, “You know what? You’re going to cheap shot? I’ll cheap shot you back!” And that’s just how Floyd works. You know that’s what Floyd thought, so I can’t say I’m not going to call it the way people saw that. It never went down that way. However, me? Being a champion and being the guy everybody is looking at, I wouldn’t have took that shot that way because to me, what Ortiz did was a gesture of showing he’s frustrated and he can’t win. So if I got him where I want him, I got him frustrated, I got him feeling like he can’t win, there is no need to cheap shot him. Just go in there and finish him off. You feel me?"
