    I haven't read anything anywhere that says the 145 catchweight limit was anything other than a monetary clause that Cotto would have to pay if he went over the limit.

    Also, I think you have your timeline all messed up.

    What do you have to say about Pac saying he'll give all the urine test the NSAC wants, when the NSAC does not test for EPO or HGH

    That diamond belt stuff is ridiculous really. I don't think the belts or titles should be made up so one fighter can be champion for promotion. This is Bob Arum type activity.

    so many false in one statement. first, cotto fully expects that his title will be depended even at a catchweight which is the only way they are getting a pac fight back then. he just tried not to bring the belt so that he can get an extra bucks for it and let pac's camp pay the WBO sanctioning fee.

    second WBO has no power to strip cotto of a welterweight title if he weighs over the agreed catchweight. the 145 catchweight is just an agreement between pac and coto's team and not sanctioned by WBO.

    its fair to Cotto because if the guy is gonna defend his title against a JrWW at 147, then i don't see why he should be getting a 12M$ payday.

    Don't forget that by fihgting Pac, Cotto was gunning for greatness. Sure, Pac had a title to gain, but Cotto had alot more to gain than Pac. I don't see why everyone thinks Pac should be the only one at a disadvantage.

    you didn't understand what Pac meant by that. What he's saying is that he will give in to any tests the NSAC wants, even if they decide to change their test and test for EPO, HGH and any other PED. Because the NSAC is the official athletic commission and he respects their authority.

    :deal

    post of the thread so far and ive yet to see anyone refute it. I would like to add that not only has pac pulled a floyd and cherrypicked his fights, even his own trainer has gone out of his way to discredit each of these "breakthrough"wins....oscar couldnt pull the trigger...hatton was never that good......cotto was finished after margo.

    pac=cherrypicker

    Really where did he say that?

    I didn't understand Pac saying "ill give the NSAC unlimited urine test" is Pac saying he'll let them do olympic style testing? Which is what Pac DID not want.

    Bob Arum "Whatever the commission wants to do we will support"

    Key word "whatever" so even if the commission decides to do additionnal testing outside their regular requirements, Pac would have accepted.
