*******s, your hero in his last two fights looked much worse than Floyd did against Cotto.

Be careful what you wish for.

His mom is one hell of an ugly woman. Fat and stinky. Did I mention dumb?

Serious question for you man, can you see the advantages that mayweather has over pacquiao and vice versa?

    Of course.

But it is hard make an argument because you *****s still see Gayweather like he is 24 years old. The fact is his inactivity and age is catching up with him and you idiots can not even see it. In order to make aproper assessment, you have toputthis intoconsideration.

For example, Pac actually paces himself morenow. He tendsto be more active towards the last 2 or 1minute of the fight. It is just naural because Pac also ages. But in aging, they become wiser.

When he reamined staionary, you all shout like it was designed to make it more exciting. He lost his mobility,it is as simple asthat. Anyone who fights every 18months or so,nomatter how often you go to gym, would some how be affected, and the fact is that he is 35 years old. Mayweather's connect rate against Cotto stemsfromhis diminished movement, not because Cotto is suddenly a defense genius.

Gay has lots of strengths - defense is superb. Not exactly impregnable because the shoulder roll is vulnerable to body attacks or punches because the trunk is simply too big to cover. Plus,Gay fights with his upper body like a pendulum (which explains why you will see hundreds of bending below the waist photos), which uses it to counter. Since it is coming from a philly shellposition, it is almost always the right that is going to be thrown. Ifyou understand stances, you will know why the left is harder to launch from that stance. Even if you can actually do so, it does not have much power.

Gay also has underrated offense. His offense has relatively high connect rate because he seldom throws them and therefore opponents are not expecting his punches when he throws them. It is like Clottey in terms of analogy. He sparingly throws them but when he does,it will always find a mark.

sloppy by mayweathers standards yes I agree but still landing a t higher percentage than most champion winning fights. He has slowed a bit though and his accuracy ain't what it once was but this is also credit to Cotto for fighting a great defensive fight. My guess is if he had the right opponenet in front of him with 8oz gloves he'd have landed at a much higher percentage but still not what it was a few years ago, he's definetly lost a bit of speed and accuracy.

What happened is Floyd fought a guy his size, in his class that wasn't totally old or shot.

Cotto was 4-5 years past his prime himself and he still gave him all the trouble in the world. There's a reason why Floyd ducked just about every elite fighter at WW over the past 5 years or so.

Pejevan, I am nor ******* or ***** or idiot. I am a fan of both of these boxing savants. I realize that pac and may are 2 of the most polarizing figures in boxing, and because of that it is easy to forget that we as boxing fans should appreciate them both.

Mayweather shoulder roll defense is usually virtually impenetrable, however his defense relies heavily on reflexes and I think they are beginning to fade. Mayweather threw some shots against Cotto that were very predictable like the leading straight right, but it was beautiful seeing him put together combinations.

Pacquiao is still very fast, and his punches still have pop on them(he is one of 2 people to ever drop mosley), but if they don't fight in '13, this fight becomes pointless.

The lead right was not there cause Cotto has a high tight guard that he could not penetrate like other fighters.I will say he was a lil sluggish, but I think that was more because he decided to not move as much.
