that little trip in the first round was due to the angle of collision between the two fighters. what actually happened was ricky came in with a left hook. he missed, but his hand/inner wrist pressed on the side of floyd's face/neck, and combined with the angle of their feet, pushed him off balance. it was not a hit. I watched this **** in slow motion....just goes to show how athletically gifted mayweather is.

Alot of people were saying he almost knocked Floyd down, Even in the post fight interview a reporter mentioned it and said "When you almost knocked Floyd down did you think you had him right there?"

Yes thats right. It was more him being off balance going back than an 'almost knock down'. When a British person loses the press and news people like to paint a totally different picture.

The news channels have made than off balance thing into Hatton hurting PBF.

someone post a video in here. It looked like he got hurt with a right from ricky, he seemed a little phased to me. I could not believe they did not show a replay of that - i was pissed!

Hi guys, new to the forums.

Yeah Zhaaka, same. I thought Hatton looked like he was going to follow up.
For the the people who've seen the fight multiple times was there any possible punch that Ricky could have follow up and capitalize on the slip up /off balance of Floyd? Or was the distance too far for one?
