    This.

Floyd lost the chance of getting a massive pay day and a lot of respect by fighting and beating Pac when his stock was at it's peak.

    Winners:

    1) JMM: solidifies his place as one of the top 3-5 Mexican fighters of all time and separates himself from his contemporaries Morales and MAB

    2) (whether you like it or not) Mayweather: Fan of all three guys but the fight last night does clarify that Floyd is the best fighter of this generation (which most rational fans realized already). Also, PBF is still P4P number one.

    Losers:

    1) Pac: (of course)
a)He was sliding in the P4P rankings but now will be considered in the lower half of the top 10.
    b) Lost out on his biggest Payday ever
    c) plants a seed of doubt who really won the first 3 fights

    2) Arum:
    a) Played games for years and had his man lose to a non-inhouse fighter
    b) missed out on his biggest payday ever
    c) Kicking himself in the ass for not making a huge star out of in house fighter with this lose.

    3) *******s: History has proven these losers wrong again

    4) The fans: most hardcore fans wanted things to be settled in the ring between Floyd and Pac.
    5) Boxing: it has lost a Mega star (yeah he is still a super-star but manny will never command such attention again)

Floyd is the loser here, he doesn't get the scalp and conveniently misses another fighter during their peak, but then it's not like we are not used to it?

Boxing wins tonight so does JMM and His team especially Memo, juts a shame JMM is closer to 40 then 25

Pac isn't the fighter he was a few years ago. Even if Floyd did beat Pacquaio last night. He wouldn't get the credit, because Manny is past it!

Winner? He should have fought Pacquiao 2 years ago - if he had won, that would have put him in the atg bracket. By not making the fight and letting Marquez do his dirty work, Mayweather comes out a loser as much as anyone.

    Oh **** here we go.

Now in certain peoples minds just because Mayweather dominated Marquez when they fought and Marquez KOed Manny then Mayweather gets an automatic pass and dosnt have to fight Manny?

    What stupid logic.

h my goodness me, Mayweather is now the greatest p4p in his generation?, ok first of all, he is a great great fighter, not lost, displays skills not seen for a decade or so, BUT, you cant say 'would have beat' when he hasnt fought them, you can be subjective, but thats all you can be. TBH NO if JMM hit floyd with same punch i think he would go down, before he schooled him, floyd was rocked by Hatton who was much less of a puncher. The problem is about timing, its like when lennox fought Tyson, should have happend years before for one reason or another, didnt happen, Lennox floors tyson and is greatest of generation, BUT (Tyson would have one on their prime), what was their prime? when did it happen at the same time?

I think its the same with Mayweather and Pacquiao last night, 2 years ago when the fight was supposed to happen, Pacqiuiao wins tbh, now if the fight , even before this last fight Mayweather wins easily, and the reason isnt being better , its time in development, skiled fighter always win lat in careers, up front, take it to em fightes win younger, happend throughout history, they are both great, there ISNT a best, plus Floyd never took risks, thats cowardice not 'Smart politics'

Thank you. I had started to write somthing about this using Ali Fraizier and Foreman as an example but decided to read through the thread first.

    My thoughts exactly.
