Mayweather tried to act all silly, even interrupting Cotto several times and acting as if he didn't care of the face off... I think he was trying to get Cotto to either get upset or say something improper to have an excuse... Cotto didn't and Mayweather had to stay nice... Round 1 to Cotto.. in my opinion... :bbb
not outwardly, no he wasn't. but it was still highly annoying. Not a very interesting faceoff if he resorts to his gambling and high fashion.
I turned it off right when floyd pointed out cottos watch "part of life is noticing nice things" what.
He wasn't being nice. I watched his face offs with Victor Ortiz and Shane Mosley. They fallow the same patern Mayweather first prases his oppoent. He calls Ortiz a young lion. He talks about Mosley's big win over Margarito. Than he goes into "Money" mode. Mosley handles it the best, he's been in with so many good boxers. When they do close ups of Miguel Cotto there is a dear in the headlights look on him, but he handles it pretty well. Not as good as Mosley. Better than Ortiz. Do you really think Mayweather need to know the score? He's just showing Cotto he's not as important as him. With Ortiz, he knows that he has a guy who's never been in this kind of fight. Mosley and Cotto ae smart enough not to give their game plan away. Mayweather gets Ortiz to give his game plan away. Mayweather isn't being nice he's firing the first shots in the psychological warfare.
